SKYFALL Plot Synopsis

I'm pretty sure the Turkish arts and culture minister confirmed that the first fifteen minutes of the film would be set in Istanbul.

Although it might be nice to see a James Bond who has been given a long-term assignment, and has let hismelf go a little bit. He gets recalled to the Double-Oh Section, but begins to find that his transfer was part of a conspiracy to keep "Skyfall" a secret.

M: We were in this together, but then you left. Now this evil rises.

Bond: I'll get my speedo.

Very Thunderball-esque... Bond getting back into shape. Now, throw in Pat Fearing, SPECTRE, and a nuclear bomb, and you've got a movie.

Bring back the blue speedo, just for old times sake. I hope that thing isn't lost at least.It belongs in the Bond artifact museum, representing an iconic moment in the nu-Bond re-boot.

Craig may re-create the moment as he emerges from that swimming pool scene we saw.

My ideal ending for SKYFALL, would be with the gal falling asleep on Bond's chest, while he's got some kind of injury he sustained from the big finale battle (like OCTOPUSSY), lighting a cigarette (or cigar), smiling, then closing his eyes. Cue end credits song followed by a brand spanking new take on the Bond theme, by me.

If you're gonna have an OP style ending, you HAVE to have the Bond girl scream his name at the top of her lungs.

The latest photos from shooting show scene #35, a funeral for eight people. They're obviously people of note, since each casket has been draped with a Union Jack.

Someone over at MI6 floated the theory that the eight coffins are for eight Double-Ohs, but Purvis and Wade did that in JOHNNY ENGLISH. I think that they eight people are going to have something to do with one another, something that isn't immediately obvious. Their deaths will come in the attack on MI6, but Bond will soon realise that the attack was actually an assassiantion, and the thing that connects the eight dead will be the driving force of the plot. I also have a theory that at least one of the caskets is empty, because MI6 wants to stage one of the deaths to make the villains think they've succeeded. I don't have any evidence of this; it's just the way I'd do it.
