| Crap trailer. Too much Brosnan/Craig blowing things up. Y'know, there was a time when Bond wasn't just a generic 90's/00's action series. Chuck a couple of Mankiewicz's best lines in to remind people of a time when the films were devilishly fun and not just muzzle flash porn. |

that's the problem with the Bond films lately. they are there to whet the appetite of SHALLOW and DUMB ASS movie goers raised on Bourne and MI movies. when something like Tinker, Tailor comes out, those movie goers will avoid it because it's too cerebral for them and it has not enough action and explosions and cgi sfx and foul language!! That's why QoS was a critical failure among the TRUE Bond Fans and CR was not well received either by the Bourne/MI movie fans !! Brosnan is a Pussy Bond too! He made a good Bond film (GE), a decent one (TND) and 2 crappy ones (TWINE and DAD) and then he had the guts to ask for more money for Bond 21? For what? What have you done for the Bond Film Franchise lately? Your last Bond films were a joke, the last one worse than the previous one!! Take a Hike!! I bet if Brosnan was in CR, it would had been pure utter crap!! That's okay! His career still flourishing post Bond. He starred in fine movies like Seraphim Falls and Mamma Mia and I Don't Know How She Does It and Law of Attraction and he even gets to star in A&E Stephen King miniseries like Bag of Bones! Brosnan is a Bag of Bone!! |

I'm still struggling to see the 'content' MI6 produces besides rehashed press releases and rehashed IMDB profiles. One interview or editorial a month isn't exactly award worthy. Also, Amazon.co.uk offers free shipping on this one, which is good because it's about sixty dollars cheaper than ordering from the US before shipping. AU$118.95 for 22 blu rays isn't a bad deal. |

| I won't mind getting that blu-ray boxed set....I can give the other blu-rays I currently have to others. I often do that when I get an updated re-release. I can see my daughter adding them to her own personal library, she swiped my Shrek boxed set as well :face: |

I can't see that working out any more cheaply than pre-ordering the whole lot from Amazon UK at £89, even if you already own the eleven Bond Blu-rays released to date in Britain and only intend to purchase the ones that haven't yet been released. Unless you can pick up each title you want for under £8. |

That's what I intend to do. Never been a fan of these box sets, to be honest. Over-hyped bollocks. |

That's what I intend to do. I wonder how doable that is, though. I imagine there might be a considerable gap between the release of the boxset and individual titles, but it'll happen eventually, just as it did with the ALIEN films last year. |

| In the US with it being $199 that's like $9 for each film, that's a hell of a bargain. Even cheaper than the four UE DVD sets combined. |

| I can't remember how much I paid in 2006 for the 20-film "briefcase" UE DVD box set, but I reckon it must have been over two hundred quid. This Blu-ray collection does indeed seem a real bargain - let's hope it achieves record-breaking sales.
Of course, £50 would have been an even nicer number, tying in with the fiftieth anniversary thing, but, still, it's difficult to complain about the price. Heck, I think I paid around £60 for the STAR WARS Blu-rays, and that's only six films. And The Beatles' remastered CD box sets (both stereo and mono) are significantly pricier than this Bond Blu-ray collection.
It's rare that something seems a genuinely good deal. This does. Especially as the Bond Blu-ray transfers are first class.
The one cause for hesitation is the thought of a second Bond Blu-ray collection in 2013 or 2014 that also contains SKYFALL. |

| I'll be waiting for the individual releases of the 9 remaining films. They will be selling for $10.00 or less by this time next year. That way it will cost me $90.00 to complete my blu-ray set and I don't have to look at Dalts cupping his gonads or Craig's big "stick".
The current Bond blu-rays were at Best-Buy over the holidays for $5.00 a pop. You can get em anywhere for $10.00 or less. |

Not surprising since they're the most recent and the only ones that were under Wilson and Broccoli. |

hell of a bargain. Even cheaper than the four UE DVD sets combined. With the AU exchange rate it worked out at $5.30 a dvd ordering off the UK site. Though it was discounted ten extra quid for some reason. That's pretty damn good in my book. |

| I remember for the US when they finally released UE DVDs for the first time individually they were only the first discs, no bonus discs, for 9.99. I think. Naturally they were recalled so they could ship in the two-disc individual releases. I can't recall any other film series that got more fiddling on the DVD format than James Bond, save Star Wars. |

| I paid £50 in an HMV sale a few years ago for that box-set, it's the UE editions of Dr No - DAD in 'slim' cases plus CR in a 'regular' case. I've got the Blu-Rays of CR and QOS. Dunno if I can be bothered upgrading to this new set. Maybe if I were to get a better Blu-Ray player than a PS3 ... hmmm. |

In all reality, the PS3 is the best Blu-ray player on the market. |

Negative. I found the Connery films to be quite profound. Plus Laz, some Rog and Dalts too. So there! |

| Did EON learn from mr. George Lucas?
Or is it the other way around???
Before any attempt in the general direction of buying this bluray set will take place they's better release the information on the bluray disks, because I fear that the UE dvd release was already pretty good. |
