As Control said a few pages, I don't wanna step on anyone's toes. I have nothing against Lazenby. He's one of the reasons we all came here after KTBEU got nuked, so I'm always thankful for that. With that said, we still need an active admin and either Lazenby appoints someone as a co-admin or hands over full reign. Just one example: Bond 24 section has yet to be retitled "SPECTRE", that's just making this place feel anachronistic. This place was thankfully revived a few months ago with everyone returning, let's have it flourish.

We've just passed the 100000 mark for posts on BAB - 50000 easily re: the "problems" with the site.

I have got a bit of a problem with the forums. I'm browsing on a mobile (using the full site, as I don't like the mobile version), and sometimes the connection slows right down. When this happens, the screen goes white and a black circle - like the graphic that appears when a YouTube video is buffering - appears. When I check my browsing history, Bond and Beyond usually has a blue icon next to it, but when the graphic appears, the blue icon is a yellow speech bubble. I navigate away before whatever it is that is loading has a chance to load. Does anybody know what this is or why it happens? I'm a little concerned about the site integrity - I don't want to pick up some malware.

The mobile version of this forum is total shit.

It's another issue I've mentioned over and over, but the administrators don't give a fuck.

What browser are you using?

If Firefox, see if anything sneaky has been added to your 'add-ons' and disable the mofo.

I have gone through everything, and couldn't find anything suspicious. Whatever the problem was, I haven't seen it since. The only times that I have seen anything like it is when a site doesn't have an up-to-date security protocol, allowing adbots to redirect you to client pages. I'm guessing that it might have been a mobile browsing issue for phpBB.

I use Adblock, so I don't get that problem. I thought ads only appeared when you were logged out.

Same here. I don't see them and I don't have adblock. Must be a glitch someplace.

I downloaded the free Adblock extension for Firefox...problem solved.

More like problem eliminated.

Using the desktop version on mobile is a nightmare. Every time you tap the box to write a post, it automatically loads a pop-up ad, and sometimes it takes you out of the browser completely to the App Store to download some shitty mobile game.

Tapatalk would solve so many things, mobile wise.

I would actually like that. I do think we needed a new banner for the upcoming Bond film, getting away from the SKYFALL aesthetic. Providing this doesn't turn into another ongoing debate where nobody is pleased...
