I would sell my right leg to have been there! Anyone else heard of/been to an extended trailer test screening for Skyfall yet?

The title bit is amazing! Bond turns and shoots at the screen, wearing a suit. A gunbarrel forms around him and spins. Bond walks slowly toward us, with his gun at his side, through the gunbarrel (like the teaser poster)

The dialogue, i can't remember much of, it all went over me. There's bits and pieces of it. Bond introduces himself though! "Bond James Bond." I think he's saying it to Bardem. The music is about 3 minutes worth of that electronic Bond theme from the teaser, new mix then it turns into a fully orchestral Bond theme. It sounded very nice.

Interesting, if true. (But how does one remember that much from a four-minute trailer? I could never do that.)

Don't want to complain about more Skyfall stuff, but at what point is a trailer too long? Hope this doesn't give too much away.

This is sounding a lot more "Bondian" than CR and QOS already with the "Bond, James Bond" line, Bond theme, Bond walking up to the women on the boat and kissing her, casino scenes, the newly updated Aston Martin DB5, and the return of Q.

If this lives up to expectations then I can easily see it as the best Bond film since GE, or maybe even better!

Something is very, very wrong here.

I think Bond should just fuck M over the bonnet of his Aston Martin on the eve of battle.

I think Bond needs to take M for a ride ... atop that missile installed in the Aston.

Reading words Missile and Aston SO makes me remember that shot of all that stuff being loaded onto it in the background while Q talks to Bond about fake fingerprints in DAF.

I agree 100%. After all, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH is the only film in which Bond visited a casino. It's not like he did it in, say, CASINO ROYALE, because that would just be silly.

The amount of M's and Bond's in that trailer overview reminds me when M just gave Bond orders and got out of his way. Or maybe stopped by for a mid-film briefing because the plot was radically different than they thought.
