That's EON's standard operating procedure. I believe Meat Loaf was originally cast as Renard for TWINE (bizarre, I know), but then went and shot his mouth off about it, so EON dumped him and replaced him with Robert Carlyle. |

| I'm pretty sure of it. He wasn't in the role for long. He got it, announced it, and was quietly dropped within the space of about two weeks. |
