Yes, a variety of opinions and perspectives is what makes a forum interesting in the first place. I am thinking of not viewing them in order this time, but maybe work my way up the ladder in terms of general popularity among the fans, and see how much I agree with that or my former impressions. Looking forward to it, but in no superhurry.

Actually, the general popularity of the respective films is something of an issue in itself. I think there's a thread around here on that very topic. If not, there should be.

Good evening all, new recruit here. Bond fan, general film fan, tend to favour sci-fi or action movies but will enjoy anything that catches my eye. Roger Moore is my favourite Bond actor but I enjoy the films from all eras. Have watched No Time To Die and was not very impressed so keen to find out what direction the franchise goes in now.

Not a new member, but I kind of feel like one due to how infrequently I popped in over the last few years. I am eager to get back into the mix after all that time away.

Three weeks ago I got laid off. It was the first time in my career that when I got laid off that I was thrilled by the news. I celebrated, I danced and was filled with sheer joy as soon as the call ended! I don't mean to make light of a lay off, I have been there in the past when things were tight and finding a job was urgent. Thankfully this time around it is at a different point in my career when I'm well positioned and can take some time to enjoy life.

The last three weeks I haven't done much at all, just relaxed and enjoyed recovery from the burnout and feel the stress melting away! Thinking about taking another month or two off to enjoy life and find the right fit.

Where is this going? I'll get to the point! Unfortunately, the job didn't leave much free time for hobbies or passions at all over the last eight years. Overworked. Underpaid. The same old story. I should have left ages ago. Not sure why I didn't. Guess it's hard to see when you are caught up in the constant whirlwind of life and work, you don't have much time to think about it. But before you know it your social life, passions, etc. begin to recede into the background and vanish before you know it with job taking priority (big mistake!). Thankfully due to the circumstances I can focus on re-adjusting the work/life balance to where it should be.

Unfortunately, my Bond hobby was a victim of that. I really miss posting on the forums and having great discussions and getting to engage on my favorite topic with others. It's been ages since I've really been able to do that beyond a post once in a blue moon.

Yikes! Hard to believe it has now been 20 years + since I first signed up for the MI6 forums!

Hoping to have more of a presence here again moving forward!

Yes, time does fly. My Bond fandom formally commenced at noon, November 27, 2004, when I signed up with MI6. I remember that moment with crystal clarity.

Good to have you back Moore. Having left one of my jobs recently, the extra time I’ve been afforded has been an absolute godsend, so I know exactly what you mean and am thrilled for you!

New member here, and very happy to join! I've come aboard seeking help with a question that has bothered me for years, but I'm looking forward to participating across the threads.

I can't choose a favorite or least favorite film, or even bring myself to rank them. It would be like ranking my children. If more people like Casino Royale than Diamonds Are Forever, it probably just means they haven't gotten to know DAF yet, the way I know it.
