Yeah, I noticed it watching a video on youtube. When he says "My name is Bond, James Bond" definitely is not him.

I've heard that reading at least a thousand times and never gotten that impression. It is definitely the 'mild' Bond, sort of like the awfully 'off' Connery reading in NSNA, but with a little more urgency.

But in the trailer from 1971, they are using Connerys " original " voice. No idea why they changed it though. Because it sounds awkward and quite amusing...
