James Bond isn't the only franchise that has had its problems

Hehehe ... my TiVo box recorded this Partridge ep off GOLD the other night as 'suggested viewing', so I duly rewatched it last night. As cringingly hilarious as ever.

I've not seen the older Partridge shows for years. Saw that latest series at that. It was okay but not as funny as the vintage shows.

There's always something funny about 'delusions of adequacy' characters.

Diana and Gemma. I'm sold.
What an aggressive form of cancer Rigg must have had. She looks as sharp as ever in the brief glimpse we're afforded in the trailer.
I'm looking forward to seeing Last Night in Soho. Diana Rigg and Margaret Nolan directed by Edgar Wright. Not sure the trailer has been released yet.

She also did All Creatures Great and Small (apparently her last credited TV appearance) and looked sharp as a tack there. Actors who pass of this awful illness always seem to be on their game until the end. I think of Richard Jordan who had a brain tumour and died a few weeks after Gettysburg was competed having given a sublimely moving performance.

from a little known if forgotten show called The Sentimental Agent. Apparently Dame Diana's first screen appearance. 1963

On my primary YT channel decided to create a Barry suite from the Quiller Memorandum.
(the first channel is older and mostly soundtracks)
and the maligned IPCRESS commentary from the 'creative' channel

It's a bit like a reverse of the Nightfire videogame, which had Brozzer's face but Maxwell Caulfield's voice.

I like Carrey but geez that was tough to watch. It feels so wrong to do that to that degree.

Doing deepfake and voice synthesis with people in entertainment who were murdered crosses a worse line. Even icikier is tweaking murdered women entertainers bodies, such as making say, Sharon Tate look like some sort of male’s extreme female fantasy.
