Sadly, the title sequence appears to have been copied from a better print than the film which seems of similar quality to the very cheap DVD version I myself bought.

That trailer was certainly a cut above. It used to be longer, but I think he trimmed it down.
Agreed. The editing is pretty smooth.
The outcome was hair raising.

From the looks of it, it could just have easily been titled "Emeralds Are Forever"
