| http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-03-30/north-korea-enters-state-of-a-war-with-south/4601962 - Quote :
- North Korea has reportedly announced that it has entered a "state of war" with the South.
In a joint statement attributed to all government bodies and institutions, the North said it would now deal with every inter-Korean issue accordingly.
"As of now, inter-Korea relations enter a state of war and all matters between the two Koreas will be handled according to wartime protocol," the statement said.
The two countries have never formalised a peace treaty made at the end of the Korean War in the 1950s.
It is not yet clear what the North's threat means.
The statement comes as the North ratchets up talk of striking the United States.
Yesterday the North issued a statement saying it had put its rockets "on standby" to strike the US mainland and military bases.
Leader Kim Jong-Un vowed to "settle accounts" after nuclear-capable US stealth B-2 bombers flew over South Korea for a drill on Thursday.
The bulk of the threats emanating from Pyongyang have been dismissed as bluster.
North Korea has no confirmed missile capability to reach the US mainland - or indeed Guam or Hawaii in the Pacific.
But Washington has opted to match the threats with its own muscle-flexing.
"We will be prepared - we have to be prepared - to deal with any eventuality," US secretary of defence Chuck Hagel told reporters at the Pentagon.
"We must make clear that these provocations by the North are taken by us very seriously and we'll respond to that."
America's stealth bomber flights, which followed training runs by B-52 bombers, were part of annual drills between the United States and South Korea, which North Korea each year denounces as rehearsals for war.
Pyongyang has been particularly vocal this time, angered by UN sanctions imposed after its long-range rocket launch in December and the third nuclear test it carried out last month. Kim Jong Un needs to calm his ample tits. |

We know very little about Kim Jong-un, particularly in comparsion to his father and grandfather. However, we do know that his sinuses work just fine. - j7wild wrote:

He runs a dictatorship, and a pretty oppressive one at that. There's nothing "wannabe" about him. - j7wild wrote:

He's twenty-nine years old, and therefore recognised as an adult. |

They are perfect representations of South Korea and North Korea. One is awkward and geeky and the other is batshit insane. |

| I bet the USA, South Korea and its allies know just how many nukes it takes to blow NK clear off the map.
My bet is Kim's limited edition ceramic of Jack the Bulldog will bloody survive.
The irony of this guy, who threatens the USA, South Korea and Japan on a daily basis but can't do without their products which are stockpiled in his mansion.
I think Bin Laden drank Pepsi too.

Probably. But doing so would likely contaminate Seoul and Shanghai with the fallout, which could possibly spread as far afield as Tokyo, Beijing and Tianjin. That's about eight hundred million people who would be affected, and that's just in the cities - there's no accounting for the surrounding countryside. It is, perhaps, the single greatest concentration of people on the face of the earth, and square in the middle of it is an asylum being run by the inmates. - Mrs Aural Sects wrote:

| It was M's call. Don't know exactly why, but I do know the last time j7 came back it was a genuine mistake on M's part as he forgot that he set his last ban til Dec 24th as a joke. Either way, it should be final this time. If j7 wants to be in a Bond board there are plenty of others that have not banned him yet such as AJB, Alternative007, DCINB, ect. |

| Yup, he didn't join BAB until he was banned from both MI6 and CB.n. I genuinely think he might fit in with DCINB and Alternative007, given his dislike for all of Craig's films. |
