The first few episodes are very enjoyable, but there is a moment around the halfway point of the season where it jumps the proverbial shark (the scene with the tail, you will know it when you see it).
The latter half of the season then sheds most of the earlier mystery, which meant that all we had left at seasons end was Tatiana Maslany's (admittedly very excellent) performance.
I am trying to think of another show in which an actor so convincingly portrays four very different and distinct personalities. At times you forget that it is the same actress who is playing Sarah, Alison, Cosima and Helena.

Don't think this has been shown in Britain yet though BBC Three has the rights.

Seems the UK is far behind the RoW in transmissions dates for overseas productions

I'm curious to hear if the other people who might have seen the show were equally disappointed in the second half of the season.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it apart from the very good performance by the lead actress.

Seems like she should have played the lead in Dollhouse.

its a good show. I've been a fan of John Fawcett and Grant Harvey for a long time and its great to see Grant working on something other than fucking Heartland -- he finally has some creative drive back.

I've been meaning to check this out. Mostly cause I find Tatiana Maslany attractive.

I've seen people rave about the acting, but never mention anything else. So it's good to see a little bit of commentary on the show's content beyond the acting.

Based on her work in Orphan, she would have been perfect for that role.
