Bet you didn't know Myka, the model from Electric Barbarella was only 15 in that video which is why the band got some shit for it back in 1997.
3rd song release from Paper Gods...YOU KILL ME WITH SILENCE...I like the chorus in this one

Love All She Wants Is...it's in my Top 5 DD of all time.
Let me know if you want the 2006 Blaster Project Electronic Mix...packs some OOMPH! into it...plus I get laid to it quite often.

I never cared much Notorious-era Duran. Production-wise it was all on point but I thought the songwriting took a hit.
It's been less consistent I agree, but Ordinary World and Come Undone are great songs that have already stood the test of time.
I should've been more clear. I meant 84-86ish (Seven and the Ragged Tiger to Notorious), with a few exceptions here and there. I see it as one era due to the presence of Andy Taylor and Nile Rodgers's remixes of Wild Boys (nails on a chalkboard for me - the original that is) and The Reflex.
I really appreciate those Warren Curriculo years, Liberty excluded. And as you said Come Undone and Ordinary World are terrific pop songs by anyone's standards. Also, it gets a lot of flak from fans, but Pop Trash is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Like the chord change in the chorus of this, along with Simon Le Bon's sleazy Lennon/Gallagher/Hyde drawl.

5th release...they're trying to appeal to 17 year olds with 90s sounding fare instead of being a band with 35 years experience. An average offering imo.

I'm only digging the more introspective stuff from PAPER GODS, from what I've heard so far. DURAN trying to get their party shoes on in their fifties is at best awkward and/or misguided and at worst embarrassing on some of the other new tracks. My opinion of the album seems on course to echo my opinion of ASTRONAUT; A few acceptable tracks with the band playing to their strengths, but poor tracks, awkward moments and mediocrity padding out the rest of it. Hope I'm wrong.

Out of my mind is one of DDs best 90s offerings. The track you posted was used in the closing credits of The Saint. One of my Top 10 DD of all time.
Here's the perfecto edit...

Back in 2004, this one's a rarity from the original Fab 5 that didn't make the final album (Astronaut)....

Only heard Out of My Mind for the first time today; I missed out on a great track. My excuse is that Medazzaland wasn't released in the UK on CD
Simon Le Bon's voice is better suited to such mid-tempo numbers and that Warren Cuccurullo was skilful enough to write in Simon's key.
Managed to pick up a CD single of OUT OF MY MIND back in the day, thankfully and it was probably on the soundtrack to THE SAINT movie. Only caught up with MEDAZZALAND a few years later, having to scrape the whole thing together track-by-track from a fileshare site. OOMM needs to be on a Duran best of, fits in very nicely between ORDINARY WORLD and WHITE LINES on my own compo, with COME UNDONE slinking in nicely after LINES.
Agree 100% over Simon's voice & Warren, 1000 times moreso after hearing PAPER GODS. Miss Warren like f*ck after hearing Frusciante's minor contributions to PAPER GODS, confirming just what a great in-house guitarist could have brought to that album.

The album debuted in the US Top 10 at #10 and #5 in the UK. Not bad...gives them a reason to do another album

Interesting review of the Manchester show last night which started of the UK leg of the latest DD tour
Good to see they can still get a crowd of 21,000 at this stage of the band's career.
