Good idea. Exit: Craig and Purvis/Wade. Forever. Never to return to the series ever. For any reason. All CGI. Period. Enter: Sense of actual adventure, sense of danger to the characters, actual investment, drama, film stock, and feel free to incorporate continuation materials. I'm probably asking too much. |

| Purvis and Wade aside, you ask for much of what I want.
P&W have only really written 2.5 films since 1999. QOS wasn't there film, Haggis' touch is all too prevalent in CR, and they only did a polish to make SP feel more Bondian which, for SP's faults, they succeeded in.
TWINE and SF is a great resume in my eyes, and DAD has a great premise before Tamahori blew it up CGI style. |

| Nürburgring PLEASE!!
But I'm afraid that they need a younger Bond to make that believable.
(Just in case: I am talking about Fleming's idea that Bond participates in a race to stop SERSH from killing one of the other drivers. The outline was written by Fleming for a planned TV series that was never filmed after Dr No became a success. Some of those plotlines intended for the TV series ended up in the short-stories. Some didn't and one of them became Anthony Horowitz' [iTrigger Mortis[/i], the other the soon-to-be-published new novel of Horowitz. We're talking about Trigger Mortis here.)
So, considering the incredible g-forces pressing your body when driving top speeds in a racing car, they would need a younger Bond to sell this. But I so love the idea. And, motor sport has a long, long, long tradition in the UK. This is a very befitting match. But Nürburgring would be perfect, just like it is for the novel.

| Oh, I dunno ... Moore was 50 when that G-forces simulator sequence in Moonraker was shot. |

I just meant the context of credibility. Bond shouldn't be too much above the average age of a professional driver or they cannot sell this. I mean, he' only a hobby driver and outraces a field of professional drivers, which is already hard to believe. |

Side note - Moore's finest moment of acting when he gets out of the centrifuge. |

And yes, FM ... the decision not to have an archetypal Moore wisecrack at that point was a smart one. |

See? That's what would look a bit ridiculous next to the professional drivers. Have you ever seen a F1 driver without their overalls when they display their upper body? Don't be fooled by its looks, motor sport is extremely demanding when it comes to physical fitness and Bond can only manage on hairsbreadth to finish one and a half lap at all. They should keep faithful to the book here. Problem being, the Bond of the book is in his mid-thirties and he admits that he would never be able to finish the race as his muscles are already burning after one lap. How about a Bond who is about twenty years his senior? Nürburgring is a demanding race track. The next problem is, that the book is set in the '50s and present-day motor sport is something all-together different. And Nürburgring looked much different then, too. And then I must say that Nürburgring will be overshadowed by the tragic accident of Michael Schumacher. Always. |

| But Lauda is well. Has been working with a German TV station broadcasting F1 for years. Michael Schumacher had a skiing accident and we do not even know what his current state is. He has suffered a severe brain injury and now they keep him hidden from the public. |

| I am doubtful that something from the 50s-set Trigger Mortis will make it into Bond 25, somehow. |

| Frankly just to be entertaining and not too heavy on trying to sell us a message.
When even Star Wars is giving us lectures about gender roles and what true leadership is even something like SPECTRE or SKYFALL is damn refreshing. |

| There's no way the next Bond film will ignore Hashtagmetoo so we'll no doubt see something of the sort. |

| Twelve years later and people are still complaining about a black actor cast as Felix?
Maybe if it were a strict adaptation period piece I MAY understand the gripes, but after all these years and with Naomi Harris as Moneypenny, why is it even worth the aggravation?
That aside, I would like Wright back. He was underused but he had a nice screen presence and chemistry with Craig, in just the few moments they actually had together. Would love it if EON would make more use of that in Bond 25. |

Just make sure you get those Feminist Fun Forms signed first. In triplicate. Aye. We would all feel so much more virtuous of Bond got express consent before trying his hand at being a cunning linguist... |

He looked positively terrified in some scenes with Seydoux, this girl would likely give him PTSD. |

| They should have cast a more mature actress. From what I read he wasn't too comfortable with being paired with Seydoux, who is the youngest leading actress in Craig's run so far. |
