Black Friday is coming!

Another 21 hrs day this Friday, I am not so looking forward to it!!

If you don't know what Black Friday is, here's a thread I posted in the other forum about Black Friday, every year for the last 4 years!!

I just like her for her musical talents. She should do a song about Wednesday though. Wednesday is rather underrated I've noticed.

Wal Mart Said they open at 10pm and they had advertised specials that started selling at 10pm! NOT TRUE!

My friend said he went to Wal Mart at 9:58pm and the store was ALREADY OPEN and there was a mob of shoppers inside it.

He said there were so many people, you couldn't even walk from aisle to aisle.

The parking lot was so full, people were parking anywhere they wanted to; even when there were no parking spaces.

FURTHERMORE, Everything that was supposed to be for sale starting at 10pm was GONE ALREADY!!

One of the employee told him they opened the store at 9pm INSTEAD of 10pm so the customers that went in at 9pm, they took down the ropes that cordoned off the 10pm sales items and cleaned them out.

They also cut through the shipping tapes around the pallets of the boxes and boxes of 10pm sales item.

NO Employees tried to stop them!!

THIS IS NOT FAIR to the people that went to Wal Mart at 10pm expecting to buy those items just to find out they been gone for 1 hr already!!

SO THOSE 9PM customers were walking around the store with their 10pm Sales Items for 1 hr, waiting for 10pm, BECAUSE the price on them don't change to the 10pm sales prices on the POS System until 10pm!!

We advertised we open at 4am with specials sales starting at 4am.

We didn't open our door early and let people buy early!

Why did Wal Mart?

It's just a sale, no reason to resort to that kind of behavior!

Are we not civilized Humans?!?

Well folks, we have been open for 14+ hrs and the crowds been bigger and steadier than they year before;

but sales been staying at about the same or slightly below compared to the previous year.

Many people are just out to look and that's understandable considering that the unemployment rate in the USA is now about 26%, not the 9% the government tells you.

I've been up since 1am last night with only 4 hrs sleep in the last 24 hrs and we still have 5 more hrs to go before we go home.

when we unlock those front doors, lock them open in place and then we get out of the way, it's like a stampede of Buffalos!!

then the shopping carts, all 200 of them per each store, all gone in less than 10 min.

for 10 min straight you hear the metallic sound of shopping carts being pulled from their rows.

we have 4 employees, our delivery personnel, pull the shopping cart off the rows of carts one by one and hand it to the next customer coming in that wants one.

Crank! Crank! Crank!

The people act like they won the lottery when they'd receive one of those carts!!

Not to mention every employee is working 20-21 hrs, with breakfast, lunch and dinner catered in the store by the restaurants in the area.

Each employees gets three 45 min break for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a 15 min break every 4 hrs.

The logistic of that is mind boggling too; to make sure every employee gets their meal and regular breaks in a timely manner while at the same time keeping enough employees on the floor to help customers and man the registers.

Unlike the other retailers like Target and Wal Mart and Best Buy and Fry's Electronics; they all get double pay for the entire 20-21 hrs and they don't have to clock out to go on break.

The other retailers make their employees do that!!

The hardest part is for the ones who are unlucky to have to come back tomorrow morning to re-open the store at 8am.

He wasn't shoplifting! He put the video game in his pocket so he could free up both hand to lift his grandson who was being crushed by the crowd of shoppers. The officer took him down with a leg sweep which is totally uncalled for and cause him to fall face first and break his nose! The officer has been put on administrative leave while the Arizona State DPS investigates the case! To be shoplifting, you need to have CONCEALMENT and REMOVAL WITHOUT PAYING (leaving the business). There was NO REMOVAL in this case!! Call the Police Chief of Buckeye AZ and tell him what you think of his NAZI THUG OFFICERS: 623 -349-6435

Bullshiz! She was part of that unruly crowd and no matter how this story gets spun, it still involves a woman, an XBox, a crowd of mindless, greedy whores, and some pepper spray.

My only regret in this entire incident is that more people didn't get pepper-sprayed. Every single one of the people who did get sprayed deserved it.
