| After the events of Memphis Tennesse, Clarice and her African American FBI Academy classmate/roommate were going through Buffalo Bill's past victims case files for clues.
Then we see Clarice driving to go interview the Father of one of Buffalo Bill's victims.
Is she still working for Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) at this time or is she going off on her own?
If she's going off on her own, then wouldn't she be AWOL from the FBI Academy? |

| She's working for Crawford through out the entire film, isn't she?
I haven't seen it in a while, though. |

Except for when she goes after Sanchez. j7, have you read the books? As far as I recall, LAMBS practically just films the book. The book just has some more scenes and more detail. And Clarice hooks up with the weird bug guy. |

That's why it's so lame. Demme should've made it his own. Faithfulness be damned. |

| I never read the book.
I got the impression she was working for Crawford up to the point where they made Lecter a fake offer and then they were taken off the case. |
