I have been listening to one of my Bleach soundtracks, and keep playing this song over and over again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFSUhsrEZ3E&feature=feedlik
Its simply beautiful.

I've spent most of the afternoon listening to the theme from A SUMMER PLACE.

Belle and Sebastian's "Blue Eyes of a Millionaire"
Great song, shame it didn't make the cut onto the record. Brilliant song.

This - my friend and I were talking about it on the way home from school and I have to say I really do enjoy it. Like most Glee songs in fact.

Anal C*** - I Sold Your Dog To A Chinese Restaurant

That's a great name, but I feel no need to listen to the music. The moniker is enough in itself.
I've managed to ignore the Arcade Fire juggernaut so far, but I must admit I quite like Spawl II. There's something raw about the vocals at 3:14 and, although it's packed with synth presets, the backing has a mid period Blondie feel I admire.

F*** me, Sharky, that's brilliant! I love mashups - Orbital used to do a superb Bon Jovi/Belinda Carlisle stomp.
Has anyone done a George Michael/New Order one yet?

Hmmm...
Here's Orbital vs Bon Jovi vs Belinda. Didn't know Orbital were still treading the boards.

Ah, now you’ve given me an excuse to post my favourite Kraftwerk wannabees...
Hard Corps only had a singles deal, but they played around Brixton a lot in the mid 1980s. The band were a bunch of nerds with a Roland modular but the singer Regine was a stripper and well known to anyone who used to hang around Soho in its glory days. They had their big break when they got a support slot on the Depeche tour in the late 1980s, but Mute kicked them off when Regine took off her top. Old habits die hard…

Nate Dogg, who has been suffering from several strokes over the past four years, has just passed away at 41.
Always thought he had the coolest voice in the genre. So I listened to this jam (he appears at 2m14).

Won't be to everyone's taste, a beautiful but poignant reminder of the unfortunate divide between the people of Glasgow. The lyrics are spot on.

Shirley Bassey, The Show Must Go On
Freddie Mercury's swan song as done by the one and only 'Queen' of Bond music (bad pun I know)
It certainly fits the character I think, and I can definitely see it being played over the opening titles of a Bond movie. Not to mention it's a haunting melody in it's own right.
