| I don't have a problem with it, I'm just offering an alternative solution. If it's going to be open all year round, fine by me. - Control wrote:

Agreed. Something that sums up the forum's best qualities. |

Still think this would look terrific as a background if you tessellate it. The current grain effect is too bright for my eyes. |

| Now we're talking! All we need is a colour scheme and banner to go with it. Something brown, red or orange.
Reducing the size of the background image might also help. Needs more squares. |

| Interesting effect, but could do with a bit of colour and brightness. Squares are now the right size. |

| M - three overarching requests that I think most of B&B would agree with:
1) Bring back the old default text editor. Many are having difficulty quoting, so I'm having to fix their posts for them.
2) Reinstall the quick reply box.
3) Create a subforum called "Filmmaker's Corner." There are many threads in General Discussion that should be moved here, for ease of access. |

| Python is correct, I've already tried fixing that problem but it looks to be one which all the forumotion boards are stuck with.
Regarding the other two points Sharky raised, our new forum layout will indeed include a Directors/Filmmakers section, although as you can see I'm only halfway through redesigning/adjusting the board sections. And yes, I'll reinstate the quick reply feature, no problem. |

| Ugh, the upgrade didn't work. The new editor is still up. Dunno why the other phpBB3 forum I tested still has the old editor, oh well. |

Yep, some things are better, but we still don't have some of the quote/reply functions I was hoping to get back. Back to BB2? |

| We already tried this before awhile back and it wasn't received well, but I figured getting the old editor back might make things easier. Since that's not the case, I suppose it should be switched back to phpBB2. It was worth a shot.
I really do hope the folks high up on php change it back soon because it's really not helping and the timing isn't good. |
