| THE FIVE (5 o'clock EST on Fox News) covered the Heineken/Skyfall story today, and Bob Beckel (my favorite panelist on the show) was not happy with the product promotion, but at least Skyfall got a plug in on the show. One angle missing from some of the media commentary I've seen on this subject is that Bond and Heineken worked together in the past, so it's not something totally new. |

| Interesting. Of all of them, Beckel may be the only one who has ever read a Bond novel.
Or just a novel, in general. |

Or just a novel, in general. PUHLEEZE. Come on. Be reasonable. Dana Perrino didn't get to be a White House Communications Director by reading Bazooka Joe. The woman has brains and beauty. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a very good attorney, and Greg Gutfeld not only reads books, but writes them (I have a copy of his book THE BIBLE OF UNSPEAKABLE TRUTHS; not as good as Stephen Colbert's I AM AMERICA - AND SO CAN YOU, but good nonetheless). I would be really surprised if Van Jones has actually read a Fleming novel. He seemed to imply he had. |

| Eh, honestly, on that show Perrino acts like an annoying c***. Always interrupting. Same with the other broad. And they're always making Beckel out to be the idiot of the bunch, when I think he's the brightest of them all (but I usually don't agree with him). I haven't watched it in a couple of months, however. Can't stand that guy from Red Eye, either. Fucking pinhead.
I was being cynical, though.
Now, Van Jones, I imagine he put the Fleming down after reading "The scent and smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning." Bond's smoking may have been the cause of global warming. |

Beckel is old(er) and done more drugs than the other four panelists combined, so if he's the "idiot of the bunch" that's probably why. But I think he likes being the crazy Uncle of the group and I've personally found him much more interesting on this show than at any other time while he's been with FOX. I came for Greg Gutfeld, and stayed for Bob Beckel. As for Perrino being a "cutie" (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "c***")....can't say that I agree with that. She is extremely smart, even Beckel defers to her, and she probably has less of a sense of humor because she's a very studious, serious person. I get the feeling that she always raised her hand in class to be called on, brought the teacher an apple, snitched on the kids who were doing drugs, and basically did all the right things while prettier, more popular girls hawked their tawdry wares in the smoking section of the school grounds. - Quote :

| Frankly, I don't have a problem with Craig-Bond drinking beer. It's in the books.
But I find the some of reasoning - to raise revenue to make the film - amusing.
I'll make some buns if EON need a James Bond bring and buy sale.
Or has anyone involved thought of taking pay cut? When you're earning are in the millions can't you just take a lower wage?
Or was the plan always to be lager salesmen? |

| I still got the set of metal beercoasters from TND, they have gotten revenue from breweries before. They help paying the bill ofr making our favorite series of secret agent movies.
I cannot be bothered......................... As long as nobody makes me drink that Heineken stuff. |

If you believe some of the reports, the whole film has taken a pay cut. I'm not sure if any of the principal cast has been filming outside of England. We know the stunt units are have been in Turkey and China, but not sure if the lead actors have. |

That's your country's proudest export. Arguably the world's finest pale lager. I very much approve of this marriage with Bond, if only because it validates my own tastes. |

Bond is marrying a beer? So Rick Santorum was right. If so, he better watch out that Blofeld and Bunt don't blow the beer-bride away. That makes no sense but wtf. Well, yes, it does make sense. Nobody wants their beer to be headless. But Bond marrying a beer is what happens when we try to give everyone rights to "marriage equality". Man-on-beer love is just wrong, I tell you. Wrong! |
