Just finished watching the three seasons of Arrested Development. Love it. It's one of the best-cast shows I think I've ever seen. Gob is probably one of my all-time favorite TV characters and Tobias gets an honorable mention, mostly for Mrs. Featherbottom.
The show returns in 2013 on Netflix and a film is in the works.
Please share your opinions on this show.

It returns on Netflix? That's interesting. I thought it'd be on FOX. Well, maybe this shit is the future.

Like the show, like Jason Bateman in particular and Henry Winkler's moments. Haven't seen it in a while though so details are fuzzy. Or such. Be weird to see it in movie format but it might not be too bad. Can't be as bad some stuff that comes out.

I haven't seen this show since I did a marathon in early 2007. That's when I finally watched the final episodes as I was too pissed/depressed about it before.

That looks like Anders Holm and Adam Devine from WORKAHOLICS. Are they guest starring on the show or did you link to the wrong picture?

Other people have made that connection. But I'm not sure why Jason Bateman would tweet that photo, along with the text, "First day. Away we go..." from the set of "Workaholics."

Could be a joke on Bateman's part. The entire cast of WORKAHOLICS is essentially in a state of arrested development; three 20-something friends that live and act like teenagers.

It actually appears you're right. Jason Bateman trolled everyone.

Apparently Anders Holm and Adam Devine ARE guest starring in the 4th season:
I'm honestly not in favor of an AD movie. I want more seasons. Preferably on FOX for the budget considerations (as I don't know how much money Netflix will be willing to spend on the production). I'm not sure if AD would work in a longer format, though. That's why I'm skeptical on a movie. I never saw THE SIMPSONS MOVIE as I just can't watch that show anymore, but did it work?

Same here. I'd rather see more episodes. (And, from what I recall, "The Simpsons Movie" wasn't bad.)

But an Arrested Development movie could possibly work in favor of the show. I often thought the show's lack of a laugh-track and other oddities were probably better suited on the big screen anyway.

Finally started watching this, two episodes in so far and I'm pretty much sold for the rest. Best thing about it so far for me is the cast, they just got it right for everyone.

Yeah, one of the best comedy ensembles ever assembled.
FWIW, it gets a whole lot funnier as it goes on.

Agreed, and I think that was another reason the show had trouble finding an audience. Some of the jokes and gags were callbacks to jokes earlier in the season/series, and if you arrived late to the series you missed the set-up.
Some of the best lines: Michael Bluth (in jail and on the phone with his mother): "Tell Gob I'm in jail, and I've got a nice hard cot with his name on it." Lucille:"You'd do that to your own brother?" Michael: "I said cot!"
George Bluth (in jail, talking to his son Michael) "I haven't had sex in a month." Michael: "You've been in here 2." George: "Daddy horny, Michael."
Anything that comes out of Tobias' mouth was always gold. Loved Tobias, but Jason Bateman earned new respect as sort of the straight-man of the series.
Like this comeback between him and his mother: Lucille: Well, my dear friend, Lucille Austero, is part-owner of a television station and I want to show up and hold my head high. I may not have her money anymore, but at least I have a live husband. Michael: She’s lucky to have you as a friend.
I thought everyone was great on the show, not really any weak spots, but ironically, the one actor on the show who was the least enthusiastic about coming back was also the most expendable, and the one most in need of a steady job: Michael Cera. That big-screen film career didn't quite pan out the way he and his agency planned.

You will find GOB.
Our GOB is an awesome GOB.
I'm also very happy to hear that Barry Zuckerkorn will be in the new season.
