| No cigarettes, but I used to smoke cigars frequently in my college years. Quite relaxing actually. And less of a risk, seeing as you don't smoke nearly as many.
Oh, and pot too. Now those are EXTREMELY relaxing. |

| I quit, but I'm starting to really wonder why. New York's $8.50 - $9.00 per pack doesn't help matters, though.
I loved cigarettes. I loved smoking. It's the greatest. Well, next to sex and coffee. |

| My theory is that if Fleming died in his 50s on three packs a day, then I don't have much to worry about on a pack a week. Sure I'll be dying of lung cancer in my eighties, but I'll be dying of most anything in my eighties anyway. |

Your consciousness will have already been downloaded to the Matrix by that time. Then some assclown spills his vegetable juice on the server and you die. |

| I'm a social smoker. Meaning I'll smoke when I'm drunk.
On a couple of occasions I've smoked while being stone cold sober. Didn't like it. |

| I've got mixed thoughts about smoking. My uncle and grandfather both died from smoking. When I go to school, the smell of the students who do smoke is repulsive (no offence, of course), as well as being harmful to one's health. I wouldn't mind trying it, but I know it wouldn't do me any good in the long term, and well, this is another reason as to why James Bond is escapist for me. |

| I'm rather like Fields in regards to smoking ...
In saying that I have smoked. In my rebellious teenage ways I smoked at my friend's party last year and on NYEs. Both times I haven't found the appeal of it and really don't want to since it is bad for your health ... and it does smell a bit. The funny thing though is that sometmes I don't mind it and sometimes I hate it.
I have plenty of friends who smoke, know people who have died from lung cancer, and are sometimes revolted by the smell ... and sometimes not - though that lst one comes out after I've had a few drinks. |

| Proud to say I've never smoked anything in my life and don't plan on it. My parents did and it was vile.
Drinking, on the other hand... |

| I've never smoked and don't think I'll ever try.
I would like to see Bond smoke again though. |

| I smoke about a pack a day give or take, only downside so far is the hole in my wallet. :| Never thought I'd end up saying that on a James Bond forum, kudos for taking things in a more adult direction. - Tubes wrote:

And...also guilty. Not ashamed as much of this though. In Maine it's actually more socially acceptable to be a pot smoker. Replace "Vacationland' with "The Stoner State" and you've got an idea of what I live with. |

| Not at all, Anywhere from $7.00 to $8.50 a pack. You can buy cheap cigarillos for about $20 a carton in some shops. But that stuff's even worse for you, and nasty as hell. |

Yeah, it's roughly the same here. I know a few people who have resorted to smoking the cheap sh*t. I think one of the brands is called DEAN'S. When they light up, it smells like exhaust from a car. If I'm going to give myself lung cancer, I won't be doing it with that sh*t. |

| I'm currently smoking Hamlet cigars.
'I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad breath.'
No I don't really, but it's good reason to maintain your teeth and gums. Mouth cancer and all that jazz. |

| I had an aunt who smoked cigars. I'd sit on her knee while she tickled me. Afterwards she'd always give me some sweeties.
Should this be in the 'having a good day' or 'having a bad day' thread? |

| I got Samantha Bond to write close but no cigar on an autograph for me, at a Bristol Old Vic reunion. While my dad chatted to Patrick Stewart and the late Pete Postlethwaite, and laughed at that pretentious t wat Jeremy Irons, who came in leather gear. |

| Alright, since this is a more 'adult' forum....I'm gonna go out on a limb and say:
You haven't lived...until you've lit up a joint and watched 2001 on a big screen with surround sound.
Just sayin  the hippies loved Kubrick for a reason ;) |
