Russian trade journal KinoBizon.ru reported on the various presentations at CineEurope. In Sony's presentation, the 8 minutes of Django Unchained and 4 minutes of Skyfall apparently got a great reception. There are some scenes of Silva in the clip.

Well the 4 minute trailer looks real but the imdb post looks questionable since it looks more like someone's attempt to construct a trailer from what he has gathered from the internet than describing a trailer that someone saw.

The four-minute trailer is real. The descriptions of it are what's up for debate.

I'm not sure we'll even see that four-minute trailer. Seems like something that might be specifically for Sony to show off to the big-wigs on the expo circuit.

Funny, that's exactly what happened in CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

In CR, Bond prevented the bombing of the airliner. M flew out to the Bahamas because the plot changed dramatically - Le Chiffre was attempting to recoup his losses, and MI6 had a unique opportunity to capture him. Given that Bond was detained by the Americans in Miami, it made more sense for M to fly to the Bahamas while he was being processed and released, rather than waiting for him to be released and then fly back to London.

As for QOS, again the plot was not what they thought it was. MI6 believed Greene was after the oil and that Bond had cracked. M flew out to bring Bond back to London, and in the course of their meeting, Bond showed her something - his comments about Fields - that convinced her that he had been following leads while in Bolivia, not revenge.

Likely. There was stuff shown of TREK II at ShoWest that was from Meyer's cut, before Bennett tightened it, and when that film finally surfaced decades later, it was great to finally see Spock mention Saavik as being half-Romulan and a couple other bits. Then again, the 4min might just be an expanded version of the next trailer.
