Doubt he'd complain about that. He's Armond White. It wouldn't surprise me if he did. |

I have to ask...who the hell is that in your avatar? I'm hypnotized by it every time I come to this site. |

| I went to see this movie against my better judgment and came away quite liking it, loving it actually. |

I heard from my mom that she was over the moon about it ... then again, she was a big fan of THE CELESTINE PROPHECY. Hard to know which direction she'll go on anything, given that she went from F. Scott and ISLANDIA as her faves to Sidney Sheldon and Irwin Wallace in the span of about 24 months (it WAS the 70s.) |

| Saw LIFE OF PI yesterday and was blown away by it. A charming, thought-provoking and brilliantly crafted film with visuals that are simply beyond stupendous. By far the best use of 3D I've ever seen. I know that this is a very bold statement but LIFE OF PI may well be the most beautiful film I've ever sat down to. It's extremely faithful to the book - to perhaps a surprising extent. Aside from some minor reservations over the ending (I wonder whether - Spoiler:
flashback would have worked better than the straight narration to camera that Lee opts for
), this strikes me as a practically flawless piece of work. |
