In other words, post here your favourite track featuring Bond theme. Mine is the GoldenEye overture.

MIne's still the original, that plucked Vic Flick guitar at that time just hasn't been beat. And it is like the theme to PATTON, in that even when the same folks try to do it, it never sounds quite the same or as good.

Goldeneye Overture does what I'm (or was) hoping Thomas Newman could do with the Bond theme... Make it his own, make it sound fresh and inventive, put a new spin on it, hell just do SOMETHING with it. Just bring it out of the shadow of previous versions. Serra does this superbly in a couple of his GE cues.
On topic, it's hard to beat the original, though I'm more than partial to Bill Conti and George Martin pouring their funky sh*t all over it. Barry's OHMSS versions are brilliant as well.

OHMSS, with LALD's spin on it a close second.

Definitely the segment in 'This never happened to the other fella' track from OHMSS, it just sounds so much more exciting and less dated than the original version, and when your watching the film it really draws you into the movie while the original is just distracting when used as part of a Bond soundtrack (While Bond checking his hotel room for bugs in FRWL or the Piz Gloria raid in OHMSS for prime examples).

Partial to the versions in "Mr Wint & Mr Kidd/Bond Goes to Holland", "Bond Back in Action" and in YOLT (after Blofeld tells Osato and Brandt that Bond is still alive).
