It's actually a really weird listen, with a number of choppy edits. IIWY I'd wait till the "ultimate edition" fan edits of both original album, FYC material and Blu-ray rips are completed. They're not there yet.

@ Largo's Shark. I am trying to PM you regarding the FYC promo, but my message does not leave my outbox. Is there a rule with regard to new members and PM?
Maybe you can PM me?

Ok, I'm going to put this out loud and clear. Right now I'm getting bombarded with PMs requesting the FYC sessions, almost entirely from members who've registered seemingly just to acquire that extra music. When I advertised on the other page I just meant to send the files to established members here who I knew and trusted, which is what I did last year when the OST leaked.
This ain't FFShrine. If you register and actually contribute something to this board, engage in discussions (and not just 10 posts) etc. - only then will I consider giving you these kind of freebies. Otherwise I'll just ignore you.
Cut this shit out. Please.

"Severine/5 Agents" has an unreleased bit too ("Five more... each week") and of course, "Train Jump" and "Coffins" are completely unreleased. Surely there are some unreleased bits more in there, gotta check.

For those who do have the files for the FYC, but no art, I stumbled on these links:

I'll be completely honest here - I stumbled across this forum and thread whilst l was looking for anything on that FYC promo and I just wanted to say thank you for posting these tracks on YouTube. Only thing, and I don't mean to sound rude, but that rip/edit of the credits/gunbarrel music on that YouTube channel is actually mine, posted it on SoundCloud a while back - https://soundcloud.com/antovolk/skyfall-end-credits-with
BTW heads up, there is someone on another forum working on an "ultimate edition" edit, unsure if they have the FYC score but nonetheless looking forward to it.
Also, don't know if this was posted, but a while back, I found the music from that Skyfall Sony ad (original ad here), turns out that was recorded during the Skyfall sessions, but not composed by Newman.

Watched SF last Saturday night and was evermore impressed with the score. I keep noticing small things that I like. I would also add that Newman deployed the Bond theme in perfect proportion. There was no hamfisted overuse as with DN and TND, nor was there a depressing paucity as with CR and QOS. In order for the Bond theme to resonate and have meaning, it must be used judiciously, no more than once or twice in a film. Newman understands that very well.

It's a proper 'punch-the-air' moment when it's used for the DB5's 'reveal', and it's also well-used when the DB5 goes up in flames and we see Bond's anger at same.

Knock ten bells out of his family home if you must, but don't you dare touch his DB5.

Sounds as bad as some of my Sith expanded tracks. Bit of a shame as I liked that moment in all senses.

Not sure if it was worth a fresh topic so here...if Mendes returns do we get Newman or will Arnold elbow his way back in with all the sublety of Brosnan driving a tank?

Given how the Newman score not only achieved critical acclaim but also sold more than any of Arnold's scores, I don't think EON will object to Mendes insisting on Newman in favor of bringing Arnold back.
Arnold won't have to be too upset. He'll always have the loyal ears of Michael Apted and John Singleton to fall back on.

I hope Arnold returns. Aside from a handful or tracks from Newman, it didn't grab me as much as 80% of the other Bond scores.

"Hello, Newman..."
But yes, I'd like to see Newman come back for Round 2. Arnold's had his day in the sun and, boy, has he roasted in it.

I don't know ... some of Arnold's stuff in QUANTUM OF SOLACE - particularly "Inside Man" - was surprisingly good.
