To start off, how about telling us a bit about yourself here and post your Bond film rankings.
Sure. My username is based on a character I created. Bruce Murdock. I'm 22 years old. I love movies and making my own little short movies. I'm currently writing a feature length Cyberpunk Vigilante Crime Drama. :) I love every James Bond film and enjoy there fun factors looking past their flaws. My favorite Bond is Pierce Brosnan and my favorite Bond film is GoldenEye. In my free time I make props for movie projects and I'm currently building 2 replicas of the remote mines from GoldenEye. I'm very good to get along with and I love to have fun. :) That's about it for now. I'm happy to be here. I can't do a Bond film ranking yet as I need to watch them all again soon But I enjoy them all. :) |

| Hello, I'm a Bond fan from the late 60's when I was a little kid. DAF was my first brand new Bond theatrical experience. I love disussing all things Bond, and am also a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Dark Angel, Jackie Chan and more. My favourite Bond is Timothy Dalton, but Connery & Brosnan are topps with me as well. I also happen to know Murdock (above) from another place. I conjure we both got an invite at the same time. As a profession, I make movie props & models, and am a deli-guy in my day job (not in stainless steel, I'm afraid).

I agree with you Erica Ambler. Medding's was a master at his craft. His special effects work in Bond was some of the most realistic special effects out there. When I was a child you couldn't tell me those models weren't real until I saw the Special Features. I'd be happy to talk about Meddings and his fantastic work. :) |

| Welcome Murdock, looking forward to seeing your Bond rankings develop over time. chrisisall, hope you enjoy DAF as much as you did in that first Bond theater experience. DAF is well appreciated by most here for its wit. |

There was a time when it was my very favourite, before I read the novels. Now I just enjoy it a lot! But I come from places where it's basically despised... |

| Hi, friends
ggl007 reporting for duty. I´m a Spanish Bond fan since the mid-80´s when I lived the 25th Anniversary and the arrival of a new Bond. My favourite Bond is Sean Connery but my favourite Bond films are no less than seven titles!
Let´s keep the Bond flag up! |

| Greetings from the US (I doubt I'm the only member here from that great imperialistic nation, but I felt like saying that). General Y Y (nice name, by the way), whom I know as Dragonpol over on MI6 Community, asked me to come join the fun here, so I figured, why not? Wait, it is fun here, right? I didn't accidentally join a Neo Nazi training camp, did I?! Just kidding If you want to know anything about me, here we go: 1) I'm a writer, first and foremost (hence why a lot of my posts on forums tend to run outrageously long), with an ebook published on Amazon Kindle. If you're into zombie fiction, I can always use another two dollars, it's called "Undead Explosion: Dead Place" and you'll find that my real name is Josh. More examples of my writing can be found on Fanfiction.net, where I post stories under the username of "Jorus C'baoth", which is the name of a Star Wars character from one of my favorite novels. One of the things people here might be the most interested in is my Bond fanfiction. I write Bond stories set in Daniel Craig's era, mostly novelizations, but a few original stories as well. I'm currently working on a novelization of Quantum of Solace that I've been neglecting for probably a year now (if not more). Other than that, I'm freelance, and in desperate need of a job. 2) Movies, TV shows, books, comic books, video games, I watch, read, play it all. I'm one of those few people who can enjoy a broad range of genres from a broad range of eras. I enjoy Sunset Blvd as equally as I enjoy Skyfall; I can read The Odyssey right alongside Dexter By Design. There's little I can't appreciate as if I were experiencing it in its era, which is something that baffles my friends to no end. 3) I join forums like a crack addict gets highs, anytime I find a forum about something I like, I join it. I use the same username here as I use on MI6 Community, just in case there are others here who want to speak to me or avoid me that I know over there. The other name I use on many forums is Bandage131, which is part of my email address, and comes from the name of a character I wrote in a story that'll never see the light of day unless I tweak it endlessly. 4) If you look at my various posts across various threads across various forums, you will not find the same person. This is intentional. Thanks to the rise of social media and things of that ilk, I find that there is little privacy on the internet these days, mostly because people want to talk about their lives and give out their personal things. I'm not like that, so I futz up my life. Being a writer helps out in this regard, because I can tell a plausible story that sounds true, even if it didn't happen. I don't do this to screw with people, I simply am trying to make sure the real me and the forum me are two separate characters in the grand story of my life that nobody will ever read. Most stories about my life that I tell did happen, though, so please don't feel as though I'm just plain lying to you. Well, that's me. I plan on being around here at least once or twice a day, just like the many other forums I visit. If anybody wants to know anything else, just ask. |

| Hey everyone! Name's Zach, though you'll likely get to know me by my username, StirredNotShaken. I've been a regular on MI6C for the past couple months, and my username, the reverse of how Bond orders his favourite drink, reflects my occasionally against the grain opinions compared to the public: Dalton is the best, Brosnan's the worst, Goldfinger is a bad film, TMWTGG is one of the best novels, etc.
I'll likely be more active on MI6 but I hope to create some great discussion here as well!
For the record, my favourite...
Bond actor: Timothy Dalton Bond film: Casino Royale Bond book: From Russia, with Love Bond song: On Her Majesty's Secret Service Theme (John Barry) Bond song with lyrics: You Only Live Twice (Nancy Sinatra) Bond score: Thunderball Bond game: GoldenEye 007 (N64) |

| Hmm, seems General Y Y is actually doing a good job at getting us MI6ers over here. First of all, I can't promise to post often. Even at MI I only hve a few threads I follow, as I'm in the midst of my career, single, and thus as busy as can be.
Some of you know me already from earlier days at MI6 ( Hi Khaners, Ambler!) others will just have to put up with me.

| Hello chaps, my name is Saunders (V Section) and although I was on here once before I don't think my prolific 32 posts made much of an impact so I thought I better reintroduce myself, I used to be on the old MI6 KEEPING THE BRITISH END UP forum and enjoyed it immensely despite not being very computer literate, I tried to participate as much as I could and what my posts may of lacked for in knowledgeable and reasoned discussion I like to think I compensated with a plethora of juvenile, toilet humour...mainly involving quips about anal sex I seem to recall! Anyway with the sudden dramatic switch over to the new MI6 discussion board and the fact that I was getting far too old to be indulging in such adolescent antics I decided I would grow up and treat my posting with a new level of insight and maturity that had always up till then alluded me. I hope I've succeeded in some small way to becoming a sensible, knowledgeable and responsible member of the forum, but I must admit there is a part of me that really misses the fun element my posts used to contain, I've become for want of a better word dull. Hopefully being here with lots of the old crowd I can hopefully regain some of that former spirit, I'm not here to disrupt, I hope I can actively participate and that my hopefully above average knowledge on the world of 007 will be informative and constructive, but at the same time I'd like to remember why I liked this character James Bond and his world in the first place...because it was fun. Anyway I'll probably keep a low profile for a few days until I find my way around, I'm still computer illiterate and also very dyslexic (If you hadn't already guessed that from reading this post!) so please treat me kindly, but at the same time feel free to slap me on the wrist if I become too tiresome or out of line, for that is never my intention. looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones as I get to know your forum. |
