Hi! My first post here.
I joined because I am a musician, and a Bond Film-fan. I am actually writing a theme song for a "future Bond film" (If I am lucky enough to get it considered by them...)...and thought I would join this forum to get more into the Bond Universe. I am always in state of Joy to hear John Barry's work in the Bond films. He clearly set the standard.
Who knows what will happen in the next film...maybe they should consider Trevor Rabin. He's had success in Film scores several times, and to boot...owns an Aston Martin DB5 last I knew. (!!)

I, too, am in a state of joy when listening to Barry's (and Arnold's, Conti's, Serra's, Martin's and Kamen's!) Bond scores.

Hey guys, new around these parts. Nice to find a forum where you are allowed to speak freely,been a massive Bond fan since 1971 after seeing Diamonds are forever at the flix...nearly 50 years ago, jeez where does the time go?

Indeed, welcome silvertoe. As you say you're welcome to say anything on these here parts. Must've been something seeing DAF in the cinema first time round.

Welcome silvertoe. Wasn't quite old enough to catch DAF at the movies what with only being born in '71 ... my first at the cinema was Octopussy, if memory serves.

At the risk of ostracising silvertoe, I'd say you got the better end of the stick having your first cinematic Bond experience with OP rather than DAF!

Hello all, I used to be ‘Goodnight’ on CommanderBond.net a few years ago before it got shutdown.

Went to the SPECTRE premiere back in 2015, had a wicked time.

Other hobbies include lifting things up.

SPECTRE premiere was a surreal experience, they kind of kept you on the move on the red carpet.
Getting hold of the tickets was a total faff, we all had to join a charity called ‘The cinema and television benevolent fund’ CTBF for short, then get put into a ballot, however we all got tickets successfully so that was a relief. At £200 per person, it was probably the most expensive cinema ticket ever, but it’s something I’d always wanted to do. I think if No Time to Die goes ahead in November that there won’t be a premiere or at least not the opportunity for fans/public to attend.
