24 Mistakes in Skyfall 'spotted'

Eagle-eyed fans of the new James Bond film Skyfall have noticed 24 continuity and factual mistakes.

The mistakes include the scene where Bond, played by Daniel Craig, drinks Macallan in M's apartment. When he puts the bottle on the table, the label is facing away from the audience, in the next few scenes the label is towards the audience and then in the next shot, away from the audience again.

Later in the movie, Bond takes a radio from arch-enemy Silva, played by Javier Bardem, and puts it in his right pocket, but then a few shots later he takes it from his left pocket.

During the scenes on the London Underground, Bond gets on at Temple station and gets off at Westminster, but Embankment, the station in-between these two stops on the District line, is nowhere to be seen.

Other mistakes spotted include:

"In the opening chase scene, the car that Bond and the girl are driving in crashes into the Audi and then into a market stall, and the windscreen remains intact. The next shot that shows the girl in the Landrover, the windscreen has completely cracked."

"James Bond is seen driving down Whitehall in London. Behind him a number 38 bus is seen. However the 38 does not travel down or indeed particularly near Whitehall. This was probably done to show off the new Routemaster bus, which is currently only used on the 38 route."

"When Bond is fighting on top of the train at the beginning of the film, his footwear changes from black lace up shoes to black slip-on ankle boots."

nitpicking but the station's in Jubilee Line getup and is meant to be District Line and uses trains not on the District (being filmed at Charing Cross' disused platforms and all), Bond getting off at Embankment but emerging streetside at Westminster. Neither here nor there but the link has other Bond bloopers. The comments on the article are probably more entertaining.

I don't remember Bond taking a radio from Silva ... maybe they're referring to the radio Q gives him. And if it was taken from a different pocket to show Silva to the one he dropped it into on Severine's boat after triggering it, I didn't notice.

People with a little too much time on their hands. I remember this mistakes website after Titanic came out.

I get a chuckle from those Robert Webb 'Great TV/Movie Mistakes' progs on Beeb 3, but for the most part the mistakes are news to me.
