as Max Fischer intoned: "Fuck it, we're building it anyway."
the suite combines To Cornwall from the stop and much of the 'Titanic on the bottom' stuff. Personally RTT's a top 3 Barry soundtrack and has been since I saw the film nay on twenty years ago.

The London Starlight Orchestra is one of the worst things to ever happen to music.

as I can't find my Sudden Impact tracks to link...well, not without uploading them.
What can I say, I like the sounds for Scorpio...well, that and "Dawn Discovery" largely for the image it accompanied.

I noticed somewhat belatedly that Radio 3 are doing film music in this Saturday Classics. This first one has Goldsmith, Bernstein et al. This expires Christmas Eve so I doubt I'll have time work and whatnot but might be interesting to listen to.

Pure cheese. I love it. I may upload the soundtrack to YouTube. There are a couple that I plan to.

Finally gave a real listen to Williams' TINTIN and WAR HORSE scores. It's seeming more and more like Williams' heart just isn't in it anymore.

He may be getting old and losing steam, but I love WAR HORSE. Some tremendous stuff there, very reminiscent of John Barry's later works.

Yup. Tried to watch THE DEEP on Netflix Instant. May try to get back to it again. Damn thing kept rebuffering, and the movie looks like crap. I knew it was going to be crap going in, but I was hoping it would be enjoyable 70's crap. With Jackie's talents on full display.

I have uploaded Ennio Morricone's wonderful score for TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA in four parts. The people who put this soundtrack together did the annoying thing of placing the start of one track on the end of the one preceding it. So there might a couple bumps in the sound. I did my best.

Just listening to a vinyl rip of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Amazing how much better it sounds than the poorly mixed anthology set.

Apparently these are vinyls remastered by the uploader (I must say he did a first class job). I'm in the process of contacting him, and I'll announce when I get a decent download link, so fans of this score can PM me then.
