They own it, right?
I try to only upload stuff that is not commercially available anyway, or out of print.

He's got 2 million+ views. Shit.
I guess there's not much to be worried about.
Re: DEATH WISH--I really like Joanna's Theme.
Overall, it's a slick score.

I switched the DEATH WISH vids to unlisted for now. I just saw that you can get 'em on iTunes, and I don't want to post anything commerically available unless it's only available used.
Might delete them altogether, but for now they're unlisted.
This means no BLOW OUT upload as it's on iTunes, but I may do DRESSED TO KILL in a couple weeks for my next trick.

Giving a listen to Star Trek VI after a while. Though not the best I think it does the job than say a Horner score would do. The main theme sounds dark and menacing, urgent even. The sign off music is good and the end theme good enough.
With Star Trek IV following II and III and V being expanded, I wonder if VI will soon get the treatment. Even Generations as the OST misses music from the saucer evacuation which I kind of like (kind being a light word). The VI score always sounds to me like it is this crew'final journey, they're standing down soon, they're getting on but they're still Captain Kirk and co.

Now, thinking about if Goldsmith had scored Generations. I can imagine how a score would've sounded for Kirk's death. Would've been a triumph the entire score. Fact Goldsmith used the TMP theme for TNG/TNG movies it'd would've been interesting to see how he meshed the two crews. The passing of the baton. Maybe like somebody putting John Barry music over the Goldeneye PTS somebody could put some of his music to certain scenes in Generations.

Lerner never forgave Barry for abandoning it after it bombed (closed out of town in Boston), according to Don Black.

Ha, what a small world saying yesterday. 2CD's sound interesting, probably like the TSFS score. Original score on 1, extended other.
thanks Sharky

Purchased CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND soundtrack. Listening to it at this very moment. Makes me wanna just pop in the blu-ray but I'm gonna eventually start a Spielberg run beginning with DUEL first.

definitely a good score overall for Jaws, "Into the Estuary", "The Great Shark Chase" etc. Went scavenging for the other scores on YouTube. Jaws 3...and 4 are passable at best.

Bernstein's GHOSTBUSTERS and Goldsmith's GREMLINS were two interesting and fun scores of '84.
I enjoyed Goldsmith's score for GREMLINS 2 a bit more, though:

GREMLINS 2 is good manic fun. Wish someone like FSM could do a release for the first film's score, it's got some great cues. All there is is that shitty 80s soundtrack with pop songs and only a few Goldsmith bits.
