I don't like any member of Bond And Beyond being banned, and I'm all for giving people a second chance. You're more than welcome to return to the forums, but I would strongly advise that you do your best to steer clear of race issues, the main reason your head was called for.
If this sounds agreeable to you, then you're welcome to return any time you'd like to,
Sincerely,
M

He is, but scared to post. Feeling sorry for the guy. I don't know what happened the other day, but it was a big f*ck up.
I had a sneaking suspicion that M wanted your avatar back so desperately, he was willing to unban j7wild as a bargaining chip.
I wish it was that simple. Seems like Python has covered the avatar issue
We're all happy you're back, Mrs. Sects. :D |

Unless there was an error in the forum code that allowed him to start posting again, and when he discovered it, he made up the e-mail to cover himself. Of course, the whole house of cards would come down as soon as the moderators questioned M about it, but j7 probably didn't think that far. He never was the smartest crayon in the box, and so probably didn't think anyone would ask M about it. And that might have happened if M ran this place the way James Page runs MI6book. |

| So during the convo with j7wild on bookface, I asked this question "why do you want to come back?" After that he stopped replying. I wonder if he even knows that answer. Everywhere else he posts the same exact stuff, copy and paste, in different forums whether it's a generic movie site or a Lara Croft fan site. Heck I found an old deserted Lara Croft forum that dates back to 2000 with him in it. Maybe to him we were the last Bond forum he joined that didn't ban him, until we actually did, so we're his last resort? |

| He probably thinks that by posting thousands of red carpet photos of various models, he's doing us all a public service - and that we'll be grateful enough to overlook his frequent racist outbursts. |

| Ok my friends, I clearly owe all of you some clarification here:
At least two longstanding members of these forums were against j7 having been banned. One member requested account termination because of it, while the other provided a lot of links to posts made by other members, arguing somewhat validly that some of these posts were no better or worse than j7's. There was also strong suspicion that j7 had returned already anyway under a new username. I figured it was better the devil you know in this instance, rather than having to constantly check up on every new member to see if he's j7 or not.
In the end, I relinquished to some peer pressure and agreed to give j7 one final chance under clear conditions about his behaviour. I was awaiting an e-mail response from j7, whilst myself composing a post to confirm the return of j7. But then I was distracted by complaints about the behaviour of another member here, during which time j7 seems to have wandered back in and started posting again. I was about to once more attempt to clarify the situation until I was again distracted, this time by a personal matter. So the whole caper seems to have snowballed a bit.
The long and the short of it is that j7 is allowed back under strict behavioural conditions. If he acts like a fool, then please just ignore him. If he posts something allegedly racist or otherwise offensive, please alert me to it. If you delete any of his posts, please copy that post and pm it to me as evidence. I'm not happy about this whole situation, but at the end of the day I don't want to lose good longstanding members over this, and I hope that we can all lead by example when it comes to j7. Don't make posts which lower yourselves to his level and don't bite at the bait if he posts something stupid. We have ten moderators and an admin here, I'm sure we can handle j7's presence sensibly. He's behaved since returning, so I'll pray that this can be built upon.
Apologies, but in unwavering faith that we can all handle this,
M

| In that case, you'll have to unban him as I gave him a year long one the moment he popped up. Also he created a duplicate account JamesD so that will have to be deleted. |

I'm 100% supportive of the behavioural conditions imposed on him. He might have stepped on toes here, but I also agree with him that some of the treatment meted out to him was a tad unfair. My main contention was a post of his that was edited by a Mod to make him look like a fool...that was maybe done in jest but at the end of the day, was just wrong. Mods aren't supposed to tamper with any posts to ridicule anyone, even perceived nuisances. I consider myself having used my one and only clemency clause in favour of his reinstatement, and have also told him in no uncertain terms to think before he posts, and not give anyone a reason to make him a whipping boy. |

| Users might want to utilize the Friends And Foes option found under the Profile tab.
Personally, I don't think he really has anything to offer here, and do agree with Gravity that he must be desperate if he wants to hang around a forum where he's not liked. But, I've never personally had an issue with him. I just thought his presence was bad for business. Kind of like if you had a drunk bum coming in every day to your restaurant. After a while, wouldn't you have to tell him to get lost? |

I consider myself having used my one and only clemency clause in favour of his reinstatement, and have also told him in no uncertain terms to think before he posts, and not give anyone a reason to make him a whipping boy. Hmmmm....a lot to consider. I was absolutely sure that this had been some sort of administrative error and that J7 interpreted it the wrong way, erroneously assuming he'd been allowed back in. Must say I'm very surprised to see that, indeed, it was not an error at all, but deliberate. #1 I hope that J7 behaves relatively normally and that this process doesn't have to start all over again. #2 Everyone should have a friend like you, Aural. You went to the mat for him and he owes you one big time. #3 I was on record in this thread as saying I didn't like the way he was being talked about in absentia, or the way a few people may have mocked him or manipulated one or two of his postings while he was here. And it was because that I had no feelings towards J7, or any personal stake involved, that I volunteered to bring him the bad news of his impending banishment. So, having said all that, I would like to see (but don't expect it) some sort of email to the moderators or a post from J7 explaining what he's learned (if anything), what he thinks he can improve upon, how he intends to be a better forum member, and basically an open-ended apology to everyone, an acknowledgement that he was banished (even temporarily), and a commitment to try and do better. I think for him to just walk back into the forum and act as if nothing has transpired is not the wise course to take. It absolutely, truly will not benefit him to stay in denial about it, which is what he did with his last 24 hours prior to his banishment, and again when he came back into the forums 48 hours ago. If he wants a clean slate he's got to come to the table with something substantial, otherwise I'll be putting him on my ignore list as I have one other person. Also, where does this leave Rod Dudley's banishment? |

How is that a concern? j7 and Dudley were banned for different reasons. One's a spamming dumbass, and the other one has held our community in contempt since day one. - Python wrote:

He's pretty much a human spambot, then. I doubt he cares if he's banned, I'm sure it's not the first time. - Control wrote:

Exactly how I feel. I also have him on ignore. I can still see his random threads for shit like Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, though. |

I'm assuming this is Kennon, since he's the only account deletion I'm aware of since the Harms and Ambler v1.0s self-destructed last summer. This is a real headscratcher. Considering j7's racism, I'd have thought Kennon would've been one of the last to feel sorry for the guy when he was kicked out. Did he say any more? |
