Subject: Debate: Could BDSM have a place in a Bond film? Wed Aug 14, 2013 6:42 am
From what I can tell, many agree that Skyfall took the series in a relatively more adult direction. I'm pretty sure Fleming was into some BDSM stuff. Do you think it could find a place in the Bond films? I think some of the more vanilla types of play (as vanilla as BDSM gets, that is) could work. Craig's Bond looks like the kind of man who has enjoyed drugs, alcohol, and rough sex. His films certainly have let him indulge in alcohol.
Yes? no? Why?

Skyfall was relatviely more adult, but it's still something a 12 year old could see. That in mind, I don't think we'll ever see anything too sexually explicit in a Bond film.

I'd like to see an adaptation of this old chestnut in a Bond film. It would be a neat PTS.

Onatopp orgasming while squeezing men to death between her thighs was kinda kinky.

I tend to think, that Bond is better for a touch of Kink!

Plus there was that fancy torture gismo in TWINE. That was overkill, though - I found Santa could induce much the same effect in me with her fist.

Some of Brozza's finest 'painface' work, those scenes.

As setting for a scene of Bond investigating a place, or as a meeting place, why not. But I guess teens are a bigger demographic factor than BDSM people?

Surely some teens must be into BDSM.

No, leave that to Ian Fleming's private life as it was never present in any of the Bond novels or short stories.

Haven't Goldeneye's Onatopp kinda hinted at that? Everyone knows that she's obviously into that kind of thing. Maybe she even tried it with the Admiral!

Yeah I think that's as far as Bond will go, though May Day - I'm sure - would have been interested.

Except May Day looked more manly than Roger Moore...now if Severin or Valenka got kinky, now we're talking.

OH, that's hot! Severine has been in the sex trade, so she would definitely have much experience! And god knows where Le Chiffre got Valenka from! If you want even more, I feel you should go with Onatopp.

Onatopp is a comic character, and I doubt any filmmaker would dare to let her do more than she did in GE ;-).
