The Bond film section needs completely reorganising. The incoming admin needs to get to grips with this if the forum is to have serious Bond content.

Each film needs its own sub-forum and the existing threads need to be moved there. It's going to be particularly difficult to do for Skyfall, where the preexisting sub-forum was unceremoniously demolished and all the threads, often without Skyfall in the title, dumped into the general swim. Pointlessly destructive and bloody annoying as it was the first Bond film I'd enjoyed in recent years.

I believe the dumping of all the Bond threads into one subforum came as a result of B&B trying reposition itself as general culture forum, as a way of overcoming the dip in activity between Bonds. The lesson of that is you shouldn't forget your roots.

FWIW, M's in the middle of creating individual subforums at the moment.

I like the idea for each film but is there any way to create subforums? Click on Films, you get a list of the actors. Click on Connery it takes you to his films? It's a bit cluttered at the moment, although I know it is a work in progress.

Perhaps that's in the work, but the film section is a bit long to scroll through at the moment.

Yes, that's how things are ordered on CBn Forums - by each actor era. We should transport that fine idea here.

That could work, but a separate subforum for all things SKYFALL is still needed. There are already several hundred threads. To make browsing more manageable, it should be further split up into pre-release and post-release.

CASINO ROYALE 54, CASINO ROYALE 67 and NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN need a non-EON subforum.

Polls, surveys, and forum games should be seperate from the Fan Area.

SKYFALL should be demarcated into the following sub-sections:

News, Interviews, Vlogs and Tabloid Rumours
Reviews and Discussion
Polls and Surveys
Music, Cinematography and Production Design
Merchandise and Marketting

Any thoughts on this, M?

340 threads is a hell of a lot.

But at the same time, the world has moved on from Skyfall, so we've a choice of having either one slightly active forum for it or one slightly active but four more practically dormant ones.

The world hasn't completely moved on. People are still looking back at the elments of Skyfall in retrospect, and having seperate subforums make navigation easier.
