| Casino Royale for me followed by Quantum of Solace, Goldfinger and From Russia With Love. How about a poll of the actors? |

| I've put down Tomorrow Never Dies. Shades of both the literary and cinematic character of Bond interwoven, the girls are great, there is a fantastic mix of humour and sadism, drama and romance, espionage and action. The story, whilst a rehash of YOLT and TSWLM, it works best here, full of symbolisms and moments that foreshadow what's to come. The action is well choreographed, shot and scored - always exhilirating. |

Though I'm not a big fan of the film, I agree over the story aspect. Maybe it's just TND's lack of "outrageousness" which, though brilliantly designed in YOLT and TSWLM, took those two films a bit too far OTT IMO. |

Precisely, which is why I've placed YOLT and TSWLM near the bottom of my list. It gets too comical and cartoonish for Bond, though other aspects such as the editing, performances, etc, lower them down also. |

| My vote- Live and Let Die. Runner's up are The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. |

| The Spy Who Loved Me. It was the first one I ever watched and I still love it. It's just a classic Bond extravaganza with all the classic elements. |

| When it comes down to the best Bond film(s), the big four are in my opinion : Doctor No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Since Doctor No set the template, it gets my vote. |

| OHMSS gets my vote too. Lazenby is the only weak spot, but even his lack of on-screen presence doesn't bring the film below #1 for me. |

| I had to vote for FRWL, but completely understand why so many people are voting for OHMSS. Both are pure class. |

| I voted for The Living Daylights. It's my favorite and I'll always back it, but From Russia With Love is a very VERY close second. Dalton is what puts TLD over the edge for me. |

| FRWL, it's the one movie I go back to time and time again. And it makes me eat a lot when I watch it. It's the Turkish thing, Istanbul makes me hungry. And I like the train sequences. This film has everything. And my Dad loved it too.
Although a close second, OHMSS. |

| FRWL. It's the best 'traditional' Bond film, though Dr No may be the one that's most acceptable as a standalone thriller. |

| Diamonds Are Forever; camp but dangerous, smart, witty, colourful, suspenseful, topical, bikinis, casinos, style, excitement, Barry Bassey and Sean.
This Bond has it all. The most smartly entertaining film of the entire series.
Like Batman the TV series, but with real danger. Goldfinger for the new decade. |

| I cast my vote for LICENCE TO KILL, but this is a tough question to answer considering that I have a fairly permanent Top 5 that occasionally rotate themselves into that top spot. |
