A little bit, but it's mostly on how to play the guitar parts, which are all very simple and not hard to figure out.

I see Apple have added a 'Remove' option to iTunes for Songs Of Innocence.

Pfft, appeasement of grumpy ingrates if you ask me.

Apple have jumped the shark with this one imho.

I like that some have described it as a virus.

I used to love U2 in the 80s, saw them twice that decade. Over the last couple of decades, I have come to loathe them more and more as establishment tools.
The 90s was something inbetween: Still decent and interesting enough.

"War" is a great album. "Surrender" and "Seconds" are both marvelous songs. Two of the best I know. But, outside of some of their early music, I despise the band and its members.

My favourite band, for what it's worth.

Love U2. I was wrong a few weeks ago when PC revived the last album you bought thread. It was actually a CD of War I forgot I'd picked up.

Last standout album for me was "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" but I've no idea what the consensus on that is.

Flicking through the tv one night near the holidays I stumbled across this from the Kennedy Center Honors:



Vedder isn't exactly climbing into the stage rafters like he did thirty years back but I thought a nice tribute from the frontman of one of my other favorite bands.

They've some good stuff tucked away as B-sides and the like.

Really like "Summer Rain"

From a compilation of Woody Guthrie covers.

With and without vocals, love both versions.

During promo for Songs Of Surrender, they've been inferring that the next album could be a heavier guitar thing ... hope so, love it when the Edge 'cuts loose' a bit (Bullet The Blue Sky, The Fly, Love And Peace Or Else etc).
