Are there theories out there that you tend to believe whether it's political, religious, or even regarding celebrities? A vid on my newsfeed popped up about Elvis Presley being alive after Priscilla was talking about him and then saying "actually he said that the other day". This is on top of many "sightings" and the fact his nose looks different from when he was in the coffin to when he was alive. Then a MJ one popped up and there's footage of him getting out of his coroner's van after he was taken away "dead", and the fact that the shot of him in the coffin looks like a photoshopped image of James Brown in his coffin. All a little spooky!

The most recent example of the 'play dead' conspiracy theory is comedian Andy Kaufman. Kaufman died in May 1984, but recent reports suggest it was all a cosmic joke.
If Andy's pranking the world then I'd say it's gone a bit awry. After more than 30 years, does anyone remember him?

The generation that grew up with Andy Kaufman are old enough to wear Depends and get Social Security, so I'd say they've moved on to more pressing issues. No one under 60 know Kaufman, remembers his name, or cares. It would be kind of pathetic if he were still alive, came out to the world and said "Just foolin' ya!", and everyone yawned. The world is burning to the ground, so right now might not be the best time to tell everyone you've been hiding out for 30 years.
Conspiracies I believe in? I believe without a doubt that Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols had expert, foreign help from at least one person, perhaps several more, in the planning and execution of the bombing of the Murrah building. McVeigh didn't want the presence of outsiders to distract from the message he was trying to send, and the Clinton Administration was happy to oblige him with the narrative that it was nothing more than a one-off act of home-grown, domestic terrorism.
JFK: Don't know what the conspiracy is, per se, other than that I don't buy the Warren Commissions findings. So much wrong with the overall story, so many odd coincidiences that would have had to occur for this to have effectively been the work of one man. Not sure what was being covered up, but something(s) were/are.
But the biggest and most important conspiracy of any of our lifetimes by far is the one involving Aaron Rodgers of The Green Bay Packers....I didn't know there were any "rumors" about him until he brought it up on a local sports talk radio show back in December. Looks like, from what I've read, he was in a long-term relationship with his roommate (man is over 30, makes $17 - 20 million a year and has a roommate??? Ooookay.). Contract renegotiation's were not going well; Packers organization thought Aaron with a boyfriend would be too much of a distraction, so they break up, at a minimum, as friends (and, at worst, as lovers). Ironically, the Packers' message boards all seem to have accepted Aaron is gay, have no issue with it, and aren't really buying his relationship with actress Olivia Muff Munn. Meanwhile, poor old Kevin has been sent packing from Green Bay to San Diego to get him as far away from Rodgers and the training camp as posisble. Whatever their relationship was, it's sad when two people who really cared about each other as friends (or more) can't get that magic back; the relationship has gone off the rails. The Packers have made it sound like THEY are paying Kevin Lanflisi to stay away. some of the comments I have read suggest they'll be no comments from Kevin Lanflisi about why he's not friends with Aaron anymore because the Packers have made financial committments to Kevin to take care of him and his family.
Best response to a conspiracy theorist ever was Buzz Aldrin punching the guy who approached him and started blathering on about the moon landing being lies.

"One Punch Aldrin".
Seen that video a fair few times. I think to what some of the astronauts said on that documentary "In the Shadow of the Moon". None of them care much for the theories.
Though a trivial aside is John Glen's Frasier guest appearance. Now that's a riot.

Can't see YouWatchEndlessAdsOrDie right now, but does the clip mention Bambi? If so, there's something in their paranoia as writer Felix Salten ghosted Josephine Mutzenbacher – The Life Story of a Viennese Whore, as Told by Herself, or so the stories go. No doubt Dog Bond will fill me in...

Surprisingly not. Instead it's focused on paganism, subliminal (satanist) messaging and alleged pornographic images hidden in the animation. It's all from a puritanical Christian perspective but it me me chuckle.

"Alleged"? Haven't former animators from Disney admitted that they used to hide messages and imagery in their movies as recently as The Lion King?

They had some help from the lizards. And the Illuminati. And the British royal family. And the Vatican. And J7.

Christophe de Margerie, one of the more colourful figures in Big Oil, died in bizarre circumstances the other day shortly after a meeting with Russian deputy PM Dmitry Medvedev. De Margerie was CEO of Total, which has more than US$20 billion invested in Russia. De Magerie had the best access to the worlds finest caviar (Beluga, south of the Caspian) which Putin wanted but wasn't going to budge for a high fee. As soon as he hot footed it Putin picked up a phone and said "Deals with eet".
No?
It was off the cuff.

With the passing of Gough Whitlam, I suppose I'll bring up the enduring conspiracy theory that the dismissal of his government was orchestrated by the CIA.
I dunno though, I still think it was the Lizard Jews acting on the orders of Steve Buscemi.
