Hey, I'm a new member as well. I'm from Belgium, so my English is not that good, but I'll try to introduce myself. I registered on Cb.n today, but the The Shark (I guess he's called Sharky on Bondandbeyond) convinced me to register here. I read a few Bond novels, saw all the movies and can't wait to see what is going to become of Skyfall. I'll probably won't post a lot, unless I have a question about something. But this I promise: I will try to visit this forum every day, because I love reading all your opinions, stories and - in some cases - discoveries.

Hi Guys, I've been on AJB for a couple of years and found B&B today. I'm a long term Bond fan since I was a teen ( many years ago) got into Bond throught the movies when the began to be shown on TV, which lead to the novels.
I regard Connery as the Origin of the species and only put Dalton down as my Favourite as I think he was the best of the guys to follow on ( althought i do like Sir Roger as he was the Bond I grew up with ), Like them all infact.
Not too hot on D Craig, Think CR was very good, a little too long but Basically a fine movie. QOS on the other had quickly took up residence at the Bottom of my Bond movie list.

Interestingly enough, since Friday November 25, we've had 16 new members and only two have posted.

Some of us are simply too thick to have anything worthwhile to contribute. Does that mean we´re not allowed to lurk?

Of course you can lurk. Then again, 177 posts in a little over three months hardly constitutes lurking.

I was generalising. Obviously by thick I didn´t mean myself. My brain is enormous, far too large for any normal human being to cope with, as Ambler knows.

Hello everyone! I found B&B by a reference at the cbn forums. I've been browsing about and marveling at all of the information contained here. Wonderful stuff!

As for 007 in my life...I started at age 3. I saw Wet Nellie late one night on TV and rented my first video the next day: LALD. Ever since I've been an avid fan and collector of both the films and literary series. I'm a member of ajb and a few other forums. Bond was my gateway to classic cinema, and got me into filmmaking early. I'm a huge cinephile and film historian fresh out of film school. Speaking of which, the subject of my final thesis was 007. :)

Can't wait to to really dig into the site!
