Thought it would be helpful to have a thread listing the various usernames and aliases people here have had.

Was just "Python" for awhile.

Mr. Brown was, how you say... eliminated.

I never held the old moniker on this site.

He's including usernames from the KTBEU days. EX: Control was never B. Brown in this forum.

I'd be interested to know what some of these usernames stand for. Where did they come from? What do they mean? What is a Makeshift Python? Where does Prisoner Monkey's come from?

Didn't Bitchcraft go by a different name a few months ago? Maybe she changed it while I was away. I seem to recall her having a different name.

It comes from an avatar I had on another forum of a monkey in prison. I don't know why I chose it - I guess it was the best of a bad bunch. I had it for so long that it became associated with me, and eventually I just picked it up as my username as I moved onto other forums. It's completely meaningless, and that's why I like it.

Yeah, Miss Aural Sects. Before that she was Dog Bond.

She'll always be Dog to me. Goes back to the time she circumsised me with her teeth.

Makeshift Python basically came from a name generator for a Metal Gear Solid site that assigned you FOXHOUND code names like characters had (Revolver Ocelot, Sniper Wolf, Psycho Mantis). It was like this site: http://rumandmonkey.com/widgets/toys/namegen/6928/#.VIc9J3tMCnM but I actually got mine from one that's now shut down.

Which reminds me: Kudos to Sam Mendes for casting actors we've all wanted to see in a Bond film since the 90s.

Sir Hilary Bray...was what it was on MI6, I tacked on the OBE for whatever reason but I wanted something OHMSS related. I registered here whilst still on MI6 and thought a change, everyone called me Hilly naturally enough so here twas Hilly. Used to roll with a Sam Neill avatar.

Alas, when we could tweak the usernames I added the KCMG which as Yes, Minister joked stands for Kindly Call Me God.
