Rod Taylor (1930 - 2015)

One of Australia's early exports to Hollywood! Passed away in LA from a heart attack… Didn't realise he was in Inglourious Basterds - not a bad swan song, that.

Just saw this on the Beeb's site. Good age to reach but still, a shock. I guess you expect these people to go on forever. The last film I 'saw' him in was 101 Dalmatians funnily ("I say! I really do say!") but loved him in Time Machine, only recently saw The Birds for the first time.
Honourable mention perhaps to his role in Hotel. What a legend.
