| I'm wondering if they're still trying to make up Bond 25 as they go along...in which case, we'll get another QOS.

Aside from seeing Ana de Armas, my favourite part of the announcement was Ana being asked how she's preparing. She said she hasn't, looks to Cary and asks "Any ideas?" His reply: "Play it by ear". So you wouldn't be wrong. - OO7 wrote:

Yeah what's this rumour about? Heard something yesterday. |

| If Grace Jones cameos it wouldn't surprise me. Nothing about Bond 25 I think will surprise me. Not unless we see it end with a white flash to reveal Pierce Brosnan taking off his VR glasses and winking at the camera before walking off. |

Wouldn't that be ace? Kitchen Tanner's watching the footage in another office. He walks up to Bond after he's taken off the glasses. "What the bloody hell was that?" "Q's been down here too long". John Cleese appears and takes the glasses off Bond. "You should see what Moneypenny got up to with those". "No doubt" "M wants to see you" Bond goes up to Judi's M in her office, but not before brief interlude with Samantha's Moneypenny that's as sexually charged as its ever been. Then he goes in to be briefed for another mission. |

Actually, I'd be happy if she lays about for the entirety of the film. |

| Trouble in Paradise, apparently. Still no script finalised, though it could be tabloid garbage:

| Why does Bond have to be off active service when the film starts? Why do they feel the need to keep messing with his career? Save the rogue cop memes for some other character. |

| Maybe the film should start with him back in the Navy. Kicking his heels on the Falklands. |

| Press has been saying Rami will have the most gruesome death ever for a Bond villain...which had me thinking, what has been the most gruesome death to date? I liked Milton Krest.
Maybe Rami and Craig will be shattering glasses and slashing their wrists together. |

| I agree OO7. Happening too frequently in Craig's era. Newer viewers would think Bond is always like this. Didn't Fassbender want to explore Bond's life in the navy? Not only would he be perfect but also uproot the stupidity of Craig's CR. Do you have link, BC? Don't think they could be Krest's death in terms of gruesomeness. Always thought Carver's was suitably brutal. And Dario's. |

| Done Fields.
Agree with Bitchcraft. Surely the most gruesome death was Krest which makes me wonder in this film what they can do to top it. Tied to one end of a Polaris missile and launched into orbit perhaps. |

| I'm wondering what is meant by 'gruesome', exactly ... certainly in terms of gore, Krest and Dario are tough to top. In terms of 'horrible way to die', the Dr No guano death is certainly up there. |

| Bond's not for kiddies (in theory, anyway, but little boys and even little girls have been watching it since 1962) but it need not be GoT/Walking Dead either. I don't think getting buried under a pile of bird poop is particularly graphic in any case...
Anyway, point I'm making is Bond films have always been 'violent' but rarely gratuitously so. Do we really need Bond playing catch up with the gore levels of your average Netflix Original? Just as Bond films have always been 'sexy' without actually needing to lose all mystery and have the camera pan to 007's bare arse mid-thrust, they can be violent but in the manner of the pulp-y, half-serious offerings that they are. But that's enough of my old man talk, we're just speculating here after all. |

| The series' attitude to blood-spilling has always varied quite a lot anyway ... one the one hand you've got the likes of LTK and the state of Bond's shirt after the stairwell fight in CR, on the other you've got the likes of Carver being turned into mincemeat by the sea-drill in TND with nary a drop to be seen. |
