A Bond scholar is our hgtb, I think it's fair to say.

Let's kick this off again.

The next honouree is a veteran. With a fair, balanced view of the series, he visits daily and has been a hero for BAB - unsung for too long. Unsung because even in our quieter days he's believed in the forum beyond question. His non-Bond posts are just as considered as those about the 007 series, providing many great film recommendations in the Last Movie You Watched thread. And the, erm, assets he brings to the Blades Club is certainly his cheekiest contribution but certainly welcome!

So here's to Blunt Instrument.

Remember BI, I want you to take your ego out of the equation. Except for this moment.

One of our newer members has been such a strong presence on these forums. Consistent in his posting, a unique voice to the boards, and his sense of humour allowed his smooth assimilation into our community. I look forward to visiting and see his new posts here; he's just a like a veteran!

Thankyou!.....I have enjoyed my short time here and look forward to the future, it's nice to find a forum where differences in opinion don't deteriorate into bad feeling and abusive argument. Bond has been a part of my life since my introduction to the series in 1971 and whilst there have been many highs and lows i don't see my enthusiasm fading and being able to discuss Bond here with other like minded people is a joy.

Incidentally I think enough time has passed now to mention that I was highly amused that even when the appreciation moved on to silvertoe, my username remained in the thread title.

Phantom Commander is a great guy and an old friend too. Good to see him over here. He certainly brought me out of the cupboard and engaged my interest again.
