Heh, I was waiting to say that sometimes when it actress F***S you, it's not in the way you'd like. I've been fucked by many actresses.

Went to a callback earlier today. Not for anything really big, but I sat in there for two and a half hours and they didn't even have me fucking read. They read this other guy over and over who is wrong for the part, but they ignored me. And then they thanked me for coming out to the callback.

Bastards. Though, while I don't know anything about the character, perhaps they were using that as a chance to see your natural personality. Like if the character was impatient/determined, they may have expected you to pester them a bit. Sort of like Jodie Forster in SOTL. The director called her in, and as soon as she walked into a corridor, he knew that she was right for Clarice based on how she walked with purpose. I'm probably completely wrong though.

But still, I'd be pretty pissed...

Maybe partly, but if you have actors sitting right in the next room I think you should read them. You never know who might surprise you.

By "you" I don't mean you, Fieldsman. You know what I mean.

Here's a good way to piss me off.

A. Schedule a meeting at a place that it takes me a half hour to drive to (while it's raining as well).
B. Cancel said meeting without telling me.
C. Make me sit there for 15 minutes, and then call someone to find out it's cancelled.
D. Make me drive all the way home in a torrential fucking downpour.
E. Make me shoot a pimp in the dick and go on a homicidal rampage in a teen brothel.

It concerns a 24-hour (or 48 or whatever) film festival.

How are you going Tux with your acting endeavours?

So about a year ago, I took up acting. It's a college course and all I've done so far are theater performances. One I was most proud of was Of Mice and Men, where I played George. One thing I will advice youngins looking to get into a performing arts course, never date or shag anyone inside the course. Theater kids always wanna bang, and while the temptation is great because they're basically handing it to you on a plate, do not venture there.

So yeah, I'm now an actor, of sorts. Thought I'd throw that out there.
