Lockdown has its perks, I suppose. Decided to update the first page of the thread and with respect to G Section and others am removing unofficial Bond actors from films. Sorry chaps, Section 5.

Suggestions always welcome, the only condition is no CR67 or NSNA cast (e.g Rowan Atkinson) or I guess actors who have something like under a line (e.g Gerald Butler). If we did every actor who had similar brevity of lines this page would break the net.

You could add The Fourth Protocol to the 1980s... Pierce Brosnan and Julian Glover, naturally, but also the man who voiced Strangways, I discovered yesterday. Robert Rietty dubbed Tim Moxon in Dr. No and plays a Colonel in Protocol.

Stumbled upon it because I thought I say Strangways pop up in A Night to Remember in one scene. Wasn't him, unless he's uncredited.

As I say chaps, what does constitute a Bond alum? As I've found people IMDB chiefly credits for a Bond film and yet they're either uncredited in the film (Bond film) or have one line.

Well lads, as well I have no life, I have spent a little while over past few weeks gradually working my way through the original thread and condensing to one page.

Some minor exceptions like certain TV shows but we'll get to them soon.

Worked my way through Fflokes' post from while back, 20 odd films to add from that and it's done now. So, we're up to date.

I'll be working out Professionals (as I'm going through it myself at the moment) and the Saint at a later but not too late a date.

Edward Fox is also in Mirror Crack'd if you count NSNA actors. It also has the DAF screeching cat noise which is the most surprising Bond cameo I've ever found.

Unfortunately I'm not counting unofficial Bond actors. Some of these are probably a bit inaccurate anyway as I noticed when I was condensing that there are more Bond alum to some films than you initially realise. Depends what you count as alumni from the officials. A guy who has one line or maybe a persistent stuntman.

Finally got round, now that I've finished it, adding the Professionals which I know someone had but in separate posts on the old thread. Hopefully it's alright.

Eagle eyed amongst you might notice that the TV bit of it looks a bit bloated. It seems on the quiet everyone did everything in the sixties. Mostly on either ITC productions or BBC work.

I had the pleasure of discovering and watching The Roman Springs of Mrs Stone starring Vivien Leigh and Warren Beatty.... but it also features Lotte Lenya, in an Oscar-nominated performance, and Jill St John. What Easter eggs when shots like this popped up (hard to find a screen grab of both in one shot so this will have to do):

Interesting to note the calibre of actor Eon were hiring even back in 1963. Surely Lenya was hired off the back of her Oscar nomination.

In those halycon days of the sixties into mid-seventies, there was this core bunch of actors that always tended to do whatever TV was about and often in films. The earliest Bond films showcase that (such as say Reginald Beckwith in TB) but then there were a sprinkling of incredibly well known actors (in their respective countries) such as Ferzetti. Lenya is one such actor. They had an eye for such actors in those early films. But then there was Topol say in FYEO.

There is an upcoming film called ‘The French Dispatch’, with Lea Seydoux, Christoph Waltz, Benico Del Toro, Jeffery Wright, Mathieu Amalric and you could even kind of include Willem Dafoe, he voiced (and his likeness was used) in the game ‘Everything or Nothing’

Incredible job, and it needs a further update by someone. From the last couple of years I can think of KNIVES OUT and its sequel GLASS ONION, which pair Craig with Ana and Dave respectively.
My own favourites of all mentioned are THE NAME OF THE ROSE from the 80s and DUNE from the 20s.
