| We all love how Bond can get out of any situation without breaking a sweat but some moments are a real anti climax to an otherwise promising moment of jeopardy...let's hear yours! 1. Diamonds are forever, Slumber inc.....great tense buildup with an equally tense score and then "click" the coffin lid rises up and he is released and allowed to walk away 2. Diamonds are forever, Bond smells a rat....Bond is buried in a service tunnel with a electrified platform fast approaching, the music builds up the suspense, will he be crushed? will he be electrocuted?...Nah, he just lies down on it and connects two wires together and it stops, two blokes let him out. 3. Goldfinger, Laser beam....Bond is strapped to a table with a laser beam slowly approaching his wedding tackle, how will Bond get out of this dilemma? he says two words "operation grandslam" and he is released! |

| It's not a 'Bond in peril' thing, but a big deal's made about Silva's real name in Skyfall only for the reveal to be a whole lotta nothin'. |

| Was there a song and dance about Silva's real name? I can't remember that. - silvertoe wrote:

And yet it's still one of the most intense scenes in the series. I actually like how Bond has to rely on his words and not anything else to get out of the situation. I don't find it anticlimactic at all. As far as anticlimaxes go, I'd say that torture scene in SP is up there. The device is set up to absolutely devastate Bond, a Bond girl says 'I love you' for no apparent reason and equally for no apparent reason, it resonates with him and it gives him a kick. Then Bond is able to escape and destroy the facility like he hadn't been drilled into his head three times. |

| Not a "moment" but SPCRECTUM's final act was one big anti-climax. |

He begs M to say it, she refuses and then shortly afterwards reveals it to Bond, Tanner etc ... who it clearly means nothing to, because she then has to explain who he is. |

| Oh that. Never really thought of that as a moment for a big reveal. Just Silva trying to feel a sense of self importance from Mother. |
