LTK Clapton-Flick-Kamen theme possibly surfacing?

Recently this instrumental popped up on soundcloud from a Clapton fan and was supposedly from a session tape given to him by a studio employee. It has since been taken off of the site and youtube but can still be heard. It does have style and sounds akin to what Kamen and Clapton were doing in 1988/1989 and you can hear bits of the LTK type orchestration.

It's being debated with most now considering it a fake. I'm not entirely sure myself but it feels pretty close to the sort of abandoned working demo recording for a tv commercial Jon Burlingame described in his Bond Music book.

Vic Flick has said in the JB Music facebook group that from what he can recall it doesn't sound like that day of recording but that his memory could be faulty on it.

Damn. I did see this floating around and was skeptical. Been nice to have Flick confirm it, but if he’s leaning that way...

Rather obscure artifact to put effort into faking though.

That's the thing. It's sounds pretty much like what I expected it to and feels stylistically Kamen-Claptonish for that period. It doesn't seem like something someone would have faked.

I agree that it seems odd somebody would go to this much trouble for something this obscure, but then again there was that fake 'Orson Welles' MOONRAKER with Dirk Bogarde' site that felt so weirdly right.

I'd built it up in my head so much that nothing could have measured up expectation-wise, but it isn't bad. I actually like a lot of the LTK score, especially the Bond-as-badass parts, like when he demolishes the camera on Sentinel.

I was so glad to stumbled upon this a few weeks back. It’s fantastic and reinforces to me that the biggest shame of not having any films between 89-95 is the lack of Bond OSTs from that period, with all those musical trends that I adore.

Not sure an answer was ever confirmed. It is real right? It’s too accurate to be a fake.
