Anyone here read the Lee Child books?

What is the world coming to? If we're not careful, it'll be a 5' 9", blond-haired James Bond with a face like a boxer and a permanent sour expression next.

I thought people were getting taller.

Child doesn't seem to have problem with Cruise but I don't see how Cruise will portray Reacher as an "unstoppable force" when he is tiny.

I've never read the novels but some of them seem to be nominated for the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger award.

Rosemund Pike has been cast opposite Tom. I knew she was competing against Alexa Davalos and Haley Atwell (Captain America) for the part. I have been insanely in love with Rosamund ever since DIE ANOTHER DAY.

In the film his name will be Jack Can't Reacher.

Although I understand that Cruise has no sexual attraction and will have no sexual attraction towards Rosamund Pike in any way, shape or form, I still am upset and disturbed that he'll get to be making pretend sexytimes with her on screen. She's making a big mistake with an older guy like Cruise, when she could go on to making an even bigger mistake with a slightly younger guy such as myself!
