Best Bond Villain

Simple: Who is your favourite Bond villain? Doctor Julius No? Lesbianic Rosa Klebb? Scarry Eyed Le Chiffre or Blofeld?

I find it hard to choose, I like the majority of them.

Can we poll this as well?

Villains? Savalas Blofeld, Dr No, Zorin, Largo, Sanchez & Drax of the main villains IMO.

Villainesses? Bunt & Volpe. Helga for looks, but the character was bloody awful. And I'm in the minority in really liking May Day as a villainess.

Henchmen? Red Grant, Dario, Jaws, heck I actually like Nick Nack in a senselessly stupid way too.

I could turn this into a poll, though would it be for the main villains, or all enemies?

Probably just the main ones, possibly multiple choice if there's loads of them. I think the henchmen probably deserve a poll to themselves as they get far less screentime usually to compete with the main villains.

For me it's Scaramanga. He alone makes TMWTGG worthwhile. Honourable mentions go to Blofeld (Dawson as the sinister one, Savalas as the threatening one, Gray as the charming one), Trevelyan, Dr. No and Sanchez.

Kronsteen isn't the lead villain in FRWL.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld the widowermaker is my favorite although my favorite incarnation of him(FRWL/TB) isn't available to vote for here since technically Klebb and Largo respectively are the lead villains in their respective 007 films per screen time and billing.

So I'll vote for Telly Savalas' version since he poses more of a physical threat to Bond than Donald Pleasance's version although Pleasance does give an underrated turn at showing the villainy of the character.

I think so. Though it is understandably debataable. Much like the Koskov/Whitaker duo and the Elektra Renard combination. I view Klebb as the primary villain, because she is given the task of devising the plan (though, it is with Kronsteen), but she also finds a suitable assassin and the bait. She's more involved than Kronsteen. Red Grant, on the other hand, I find is solely a henchman, because he is just slice of the bigger picture. Sure he goes about killing Bond his own way, but he's still under the orders of Klebb. And though his boss is under the orders of Blofeld, it's her division. Like Largo, and how he was given the task conjuring up their next mission.

I consider them co-main villains, just like Renard/King and Koskov/Whitaker. And Fiennes/Bardem?

Possibly. Although for some reason I've always considered Orlov a sort of secondary villain with Khan being the main man.

I voted for the Telly Savalas Blofeld. That's mostly because of Savalas making the OHMSS villain the most dynamic of the series, and the best Blofeld, who, as a character, is the most iconic in Bond.
