Life in the UK: Up with Rioters, Down with Olympic Shooting

Rarely does a week pass that I don't encounter something indescribably stupid coming from the once great UK. Here's the latest:

Banning children from seeing the firearms portion of the Olympics is like sending an anorexic girl to her room without any supper: it doesn't address the real problem. Why stop with the firearms? Why not ban them from the archery contests? And we shouldn't allow them to watch the javelin throwing either.

And, sad to say, with statements and actions such as this, the British people have no right to be free, and won't be for much longer, at which point it will be too late to do anything about it.

far from it. Dare I suggest he's not doing too bad. He can't be as bad as Ken the Lizard. But like most things, it turns to pot quickly

I don't buy into his bumbling nerd boy image. It seems such an obvious ploy.

I wouldn't. Not without general anaesthetic. Maybe I'm too cynical, but either way, he turns my stomach.

I admit he should turn my stomach, and I'd probably have to keep my eyes closed but I'm curious to know what all the fuss is about.
