According to a story I read years ago that quoted Purvis and Wade, they allegedly wrote Jinx as a Latina and said they wrote it with a "J-Lo" or "J-Lo type" in mind and by "J-Lo" I'm referring to Jennifer Lopez. I don't recall if that meant that they thought EON should pursue her (though at the time I got the feeling that that was exactly what they thought, because in late 2001/early 2002 she was still considered a viable box office actress and hadn't become overexposed with Ben Affleck yet). So, for whatever faults a person may think DAD has, it could have been worse: it could have co-starred Hennifer "I love tacos and burritos" Lopez.

Filming has taken place on rooftop of the Department of Energy and Climate Change: Office workers have been cleared from the building with a fire alarm.



Possibly a fight scene.

If Bond makes any pithy statements about "man-caused" climate change, unless he's exposing Spectre's new weather control device (which is far more plausible than man-caused climate change) I will vomit right there in the theatre. May have to bring barf-bags just in case, or finish my popcorn real quick and keep that bag handy. The things I must endure for Babs. :pale:

Bond is back: Daniel Craig is spotted filming scenes for upcoming film Skyfall on a London rooftop alongside Naomie Harris.
Skyfall, the 23rd film of the Bond franchise, has began filming, with British actor Daniel Craig spotted filming on a rooftop in London, looking very serious.

He was joined by Naomie Harris, who plays the part of Eve - a field agent who joins Bond on his quest to track down whoever is threatening the MI6. Wearing a black winter coat with matching leather gloves and a grey scarf, Craig was obviously feeling the cold as he stood on top of the building, the chilly weather helping him to stay in character, with a stern face remaining throughout. Ian Fleming would have been proud. Harris also wore a grey checked Winter coat and a black scarf as the pair filmed what looked like an important scene.

I'm trying to avoid saying hipster.

What is a hipster? I see it applied to too many different types by different folks.

In this context I'm talking about a look. Long overcoat, scarf, skinny jeans etc.

Associated with the indie (independent) music scene here in England.

Wearing a jacket and gloves in cold weather is pretty timeless, no matter whether its the 90s or 10s, as we're now in. (How do you say that? teens? the twenty-tens?)

And as for the scarf, I doubt thats really any indication of decaying moral values and left-wing intrusion into the Bond series. He's just better prepared than most of us for the cold weather at the top of a building. Like being at the top of the Monument in London - if I hadnt just climbed 300-odd steps, I'd probably have preferred a scarf up there.

I like the suit, I'm wondering if we're gonna see Craig more in tailored clothing compared to the last two flicks. Is Tom Ford doing the suits for SF?
