| I'd like Nolan to make another thriller like INSOMNIA which is still his best film for me with TDK a close second and Memento not far behind.
I like Hathaway but not her acting. She might ruin in the film though as from the trailers she looks no match for Pfeiffer and seems to be trying to hard.
This could end up being epic or terrible. Whatever I hope we have atleast a 5 year gap before another Batman film so that all this build-up isn't wasted and WB stupidly don't reboot the series like Sony have done with Spiderman. |

I didn't think the length was an issue. Even at that running time, the story had no room to breathe. Nah, the biggest problem with THE DARK KNIGHT is that it just crams a bit too much into one movie. Cut out a brief episode here, an episode there, and let the rest of the material rest a bit more and you'd end up with a much stronger film. |

| I also thought Ledger's performance was much more engaging than Bale's.
It's not good when one cares more about a supporting character than the main character. Hopefully it's not the case with this new flick, too. |

| I've never found Bale the least bit interesting in anything that I can remember. |

| I liked his work in THE MACHINIST. Talk about taking a performance to a whole new level.
But, other than that, he's pretty bland. Especially in that AMERICAN PSYCHO piece of shit. |

| He was very good in RESCUE DAWN, a seriously underrated film from Werner Herzog. |

| Haven't seen THE MACHINIST, but I just think he's astoundingly dull. I think his face looks like a bird. |

Yeah, he's dull. 5 years ago, you would have been hanged for such a comment. Prisoner Monkeys would've been your executioner. |

Yeah, he's dull.

It might have worked if they ran with the reformed Riddler, when he was running a shady PI gig. But as the primary antagonist? No, it wouldn't work. - bondfan06 wrote:

Who says she's trying to be Pfeiffer? Heath Ledger wasn't trying to be Jack Nicholson ... - Makeshift Python wrote:

Typically, WB keeps blocking it. Why do they even release it in the first place if they don't want people to see it? |

| "Mind If I Cut In?" sounds like it's from a CBS soap.
More repetitive shit from Zimmer. I'm not surprised. |

| "On Thin Ice" is horrible. The chord right at the beginning sounds like the music my TV plays when I switch it on. |

I hope that's not the motif Zimmer is using for Catwoman throughout the movie. |
