After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double-crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly the target of skilled assassins who know her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive.
Using her black-ops military training, she devises an ingenious—and dangerous—trap. But when things go haywire, Mallory realizes she’ll be killed in the blink of an eye unless she finds a way to turn the tables on her ruthless adversary.

.............Maybe it'll be a fun B-movie, but the trailers put me to sleep.
The name HAYWIRE doesn't seem to fit.

I think HAYWIRE looks very fun. It's clearly little more than a shameless retread of genre tropes, but the cinematography is very stylish, the action choreography appears to be unusually clean and exciting, and it has a wonderful cast. Count me in.

Yes been there and done that many times over, always disapointed at the result......yet I am sure I will be suckered in once more! Though Carano vs her former American Gladiatorettes in a mud pit would be more garanteed fun.

Speaking of which, have you seen HANNA yet and if so would you endorse it?

Really liked it. Had no expectations, but the score (just from the part on the dvd menu) really got me energized.
Except for the lead's boobs seeming a little unnatural, didn't really find anything to bitch about for the short duration runtime. Will watch it again in a couple months.
